What a pleasant surprise! The Steakhouse has a wonderful menu, great wine list, and was very comfortable. I didn't know what to expect but was delighted with my meal and service. The steak was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection! We will be back!

Everything was excellent. My only concern as that the lettuce in the watermelon avocado salad had grit on it. Our waiter Erik said it was from the seasoning on the salad but I know the difference between in texture between grit from poorly washed lettuce and seasoning. However, Erik did an excellent job. The mashed potatoes were the creamiest I have ever had - and seasoned to perfection. The ribeye was also cooked to perfection. Dessert was the key lime pie - another great suggestion by Erik.

This restaurant is a must while visiting Rancho Mirage. The food snd service are impeccable. It was a birthday celebration and at the end of the meal a small cake with candle was presented. This establishment is top notch all the way.

Very average meal at double 5 star restaurant prices. Mediocre wine selection (having a single $1000 bottle on an otherwise grocery store assortment does not make a great wine list). Lobster mac & cheese was inedible; prime rib was huge but not very prime - basically tasteless except for an over salted crust. It's definitely not a premium experience at what used to be a fine dining locale.

Steak was not prepared properly and was presented sliced which was not how we ordered . The vegetables were cold Ultimately the steak dish was presented after recooking a new steak . The vegetables were not replaced

Just one suggestion…. I had prime rib which was perfect. The steak knife was noticeably dull, or unsharp. They should be perfectly sharp to cut a perfect prime rib.

We always look forward to our meals at The Steak house. The food was amazing. We shared 22 oz Rib Eye Steak with Scallops enhancement, with mushroom(amazing) and asparagus. The lobster bisque was delicious and just what I wanted. My husband had the Steakhouse signature salad that was big enough for two. Our server was attentive and so professional but friendly. We received a little Red velvet cake with a candle to celebrate our anniversary. This restaurant never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Always a wonderful experience. I ordered the Chilean Seabass as it is my favorite but it wasn't as good as in the past. The waiter understood, agreed and remedied the experience. One of my favorite fine dinning places to go.

Excellent service from the moment that we sat down. The ambience is nice, and the seating density allows you to carry a private conversation. Very nice how they spaced out the seating. We had the Chateaubriand for two and it was simply delicious. Perfectly prepared with roasted vegetables and a very nice presentation. The complimentary bread is varied, and the pretzel rolls are wonderful. The two butters are also excellent! Nice touch's like back lit menus and a back lit check portfolio further demonstrate the upscale nature of the service. The smell of top-quality steak strikes you as you enter and clearly define this place a steakhouse.
