    We held a recruitment dinner there last night. The atmosphere was great. Staff was attentive and excellent. Food really is amazing there - excellent flavor and presentation. This is my second time here and will definitely be back.

    I took my mother here for Mother’s Day, but I wouldn’t come back to dine. For a drink and a snack? Sure. They were out of fish tacos, so opted for a Caesar salad with salmon. The salmon was way undercooked. The salad also came with an egg. Usually eggs in salad are hard boiled but not this one. They served an egg cut in half with yolk. I asked them to cook both the salmon and egg. It was a long wait just for them to come back with another egg with yolk. However, the salmon was cooked. The waiter gave me a discount but I left searching for another meal elsewhere. The restaurant was nice but a time experience was enough for me. I’ll stick to the Clayton Club upstairs for a drink.

    Aesthetically gorgeous, but everything else is so mediocre. We were excited to try 7th St. and I guess we’re glad we did but we won’t be returning any time soon.

    We greatly enjoyed the special Easter brunch memo developed by the chef. Service was attentive and efficient. More people need to discover The Standard downtown. Don't be discouraged by the exterior scaffolding currently in place for restorative work on the building.

    The add-on value to the special Easter Brunch menu was a fabulous addition to the already standard and tasty complete menu! The decor and ambience continue to impress. And the cavernous space echoes all the noise from everywhere- my only suggestion for improvement.

    Love this place! Service is always top notch and the food is delicious. Very kind staff, great drinks. It’s close by where we live so it’s easy to get to and we always end up staying longer than originally planned. The ambiance is lovely, it’s usually very quiet in the dining room, there’s a busier happy hour at the bar but it is always very delightful.

    Heard good things from a friend but disappointed in my brunch experience. Food is overpriced for what it is in my opinion. $30 for a Cesar salad with chicken. $25 for a burger but the patties were the size of sliders. The staff tried to remedy the situation, which I appreciate, but it was a little too late at that point.

    Food looked beautiful but lacked flavor. Also, steak was well done when asked for medium rare and eggs over easy were cooked through. Nothing special. Popovers were over baked as well. Probably won’t be back. Drinks were perfect.

    Was sorry to see the short ribs leave the menu, but the petrale sole was a nice addition. As always the food was creative and flavorful! Wish the restaurant wasn't so noisy... It was difficult to carry on a conversation, let alone hear our server.

    The evening was a celebration of our 43rd wedding anniversary. We have dined at Seventh Street before and we knew the restaurant was special. Our meals were truly exceptional and fitting for our occasion. Food was superbly prepared and our server was exceptionally knowledgeable and prepared. Overall, we highly recommend the Seventh Street Standard!

    Nice food selection. Perfect place to stop before a Golden 1 event. Chicken and Dumplings was perfect. The Chef made a special Vegan meal for us as well (Very nice gesture but I wouldn't expect this each time I return:)). Excellent Cocktails and wine selection was very good. Service was prompt and got us to the Kings game on time.

    This was our first time dining there. We are frequent diners all over Sacramento. We really liked the food…had the swordfish and chicken. The service was really good. We had our three year old grandson with us and they had a wonderful children’s menu. The regular menu was a bit limited on options we could eat so we are hoping it changes frequently. We will definitely be back.

    our server took our drink order and then came back to the table 5 minutes after to verify it (concerning). Martini with a twist came with olives. Next time we saw that waiter was when we flagged him down for the check. Food came out very quick, the burger could've used some lettuce and tomato. The soup and the grain salad were very good. I had to get my own water. They were busy but I didn't see waiters bouncing round from table to table. They would have to tweak a few things before we go back and spend that much for what we got.

    It was just terrible supposedly for brunch on Sunday March 12th. Reservation at 10:00 am. Arrived at 9:59. Three of us and ordered at 10:30 and by 11:45 the food had not arrived. We didn’t notice as my friends were drinking and we were talking. By 10:30 we asked and they said “working on it”, by 11:45 I went up there and asked and they said “we will Check”….possibly the manager came to our table and said “I’m sorry the ticket got stuck on another one and the ordered was never placed” WOW. To have coffee refilled I had to get up and ask for it. Service was terrible also and when I said we were waiting for one and a half hours….one of the employees said “I’m Sorry”…..REALLY???? Manager didn’t charge for drinks and valet and wanted to give us “something to make up for it” sorry….just about two hours too late! You have been warned!

    Third time dining at 7th St Standard and their consistent delivery of great food and service is very impressive. Love their lunch and dinner menus - they also offer terrific vegetarian options. Oro Salmon is one of my favorites. Fish is always perfect!
