The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was so nice! Would definitely return. Family favorite of ours
The food and service were excellent as usual. Neighborhood gem
Terrific service. Remarkable food. Approachable atmosphere. Perfect meal.
First time back at the Saucy Noodle in years. This place still stands up as an excellent place to get some wonderful home style Italian food. Service was prompt and accurate which is refreshing in todays would where everyone is understaffed.
The food is delicious and the ambience is warm and inviting.
The food was amazing and enjoyed the service. Make you feel like you are part of the family.
The food and service were both excellent. Great plaice to grab a bit to eat.
Had a birthday dinner here. The evening was wonderful. Can’t wait for my next visit!
The food was horrible. Understaffed. Food was really so bad though. Ordered artichokes and they literally came with items out of the can with cheese on top of them warmed up
This is a nice family restaurant
Our family was seated immediately and everything from that point was great. The food, service, and ambiance were great.
Theresa was just ok spent most of time talking to other waitress, not attentive at all.
She brought bill, i asked if they had any desserts she said only 3 told us what they were. We ordered 4 desserts she said well ill have to redo bill.
We only tipped as we felt obligated not that she deserved a tip.
Definitely would Not recommend Theresa, we arrived at 6:20 and restaurant was not busy.
Good service & food but thought they had gluten free pasta due to it being on their menu online later to find out there was none.
After driving by many times I decided to try The Saucy Noodle. I read all of the reviews, many were negative, but I still wanted to try it. We had toasted ravioli, wedge salad, caesar salad, baked spaghetti, garlic bread, chianti. Everything was good. The tomato sauce was excellent. It was what we expected from a neighborhood resataurant. We plan to go back.
We have been dining at the Saucy Noodle for over 25 years and we will not be returning ever again as we were terribly disappointed!
The food was so horrible, the ambiance was dismal and service was so slow… and it was not even crowded!
Also, with current culinary trends, there was no offering of any gluten free options for pasta!
I'm so sorry that you didn't enjoy your visit on Wednesday. My wife and I (owners) were on site all night. We would have been happy to correct any issues you had with your meal. I'm sorry, but we no longer offer gluten free pasta. We have staffing issues, and I cannot guarantee that the kitchen staff will have time to safely prepare GF pasta away from the regular pasta. We do have a separate oven for GF pizza, and we have a GF fryer with lots of safe GF options on our menu.
1st time in since new owners the Lasagna was big enough for 2!
We will definitely be putting the Saucy Noodle in our rotation of places to eat!
This is what a neighborhood restaurant should be (though it's also worth traveling to from other neighborhoods). Nothing pretentious just great tasting Italian food served in good-sized portions and a longevity in business with the same family that proves it's worth an hour or two of your time. A greedy landlord wants to redevelop the property which, due to COVID, has been delayed. Saucy Noodle will move, thrive, probably to greater success, but until that happens, it explains why your first impression might not indicate the full story but your first bite will.
My dinner last night was excellent and Teresa did a great job.
Excellent food. True Italian
Food and service was excellent. The homemade pasta was some of the best we have ever had. We will be back!
A classic home-style Italian restaurant that has been in business for over 40 years. Tried and true recipes. Check it out!
Great, traditional Italian menu. Plenty of red sauce and cheese. don't go there if you want something light, but it does remind me of the food of my youth. And the pizza is good, too!
Friendly staff. Good food.
Always enjoy dining at the Saucy Noodle. Food and service excellent.
Dinner with kids, sauce was dynamite!
This is always a great meal. Everything is always prepared fresh and tastes good!
The food was excellent and is the serve. Great neighborhood gem.
The service was exceptional and the restaurant is thr perfect Italian food neighborhood spot. Good food served with care.
I cannot say enough about the food at Saucy Noodle! But, it does not compare to the kindness and authenticity of the owners. It's a long-time family owned business, and you will often find one of them behind the bar, in the kitchen cooking, seating tables or doing all three. Regardless of how busy they are, they will still make you feel welcome and make sure you enjoy your experience. I also love that they offer gluten free options in both appetizers and meals, and they offer some great Italian wines as well.
Our experience Saturday night was during one of their busiest nights since the pandemic started, they told us, and yet, it was still an amazing experience with outstanding food (Chicken Parmesan with polenta is my personal favorite, btw)! Make a reservation and be kind to those that are there making your experience one to remember.
The Saucy Noodle is like eating at an Italian family home! Very authentic, great food and not pretentious. Service is properly saucy too, they talk to you and tell you what is going on! Caesar served us, he is on it. Had eggplant parm, it’s the best. Well chicken parm is the best too… and the lasagna … stop me now and just go here!
Great neighborhood Italian spot. Cool red/black decor and happy service. Ordered two pizzas - good amount of toppings. Will be back to try pasta which looked delicious.
1st time. Food was delicious! We had cheesy garlic bread, meatball, fried ravioli, lasagna. Their red sauce is a traditional gravy. Full of flavor, but no fuss, no muss. Super casual, old school italian. Will go again. Want to try their pizza next! Bon Journo!
Cute little Italian restaurant with classic menu choices and good service.
Incredibly good. Came here for a double date. The service was very good and everyone was very impressed. Definitely planning on coming back in the future.
Theresa was great. Personable, anticipated our needs, very friendly & gracious. My family enjoyed everything that we ordered. I personally had the eggplant parmesan with linguine alfredo, I have to say that it was the best eggplant parm I’ve ever had. 10/10 & will be back.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this place has the best Italian food I have ever had. The server was friendly and efficient. Our food was piping hot when served to us. The decor and music was perfect. Laid back but cool is how I would describe the ambience. Definitely the go-to Italian place for my family from now on. I had Stuffed Shells Florentine, I believe it was called. THE BEST!!!!
Baked lasagne was very good and service was excellent.
Such a great place! Server was awesome. Food was amazing! Can’t believe I had never been there before. What a Denver institution! I especially loved the Baked Ravioli with Meatball and the Mozzarella sticks.
Denver is lucky to have an independent , family owned place like this.
The food and service were both excellent. Nice to see it busy again.
The food was excellent and the staff really cares about every customer and their experience.
