   went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and ordered their dirty chicken fries - really great portion size and so tasty. will be back again to re order! great service too :)

   Arrived he after a number of people told me to review due to its not so great reputation. Me being me, #1 dining critic for 'Urban Dining' decided to see what was up with this place. Firstly, the waitress was okay. Secondly the food was bad. But here's where it went wrong... I got about a brownie sized slice of mac and cheese, which was not great. The jug of rum punch that I bought had no rum in it or was just very weak. But for the grand finalè. I only had cash on me, and at the beginning, when i entered the restaurant, no one told me it was only card payment, which they should do if they're following a card only policy. The waitress had to get the manager. Who comes thundering towards the till shouting "which one is it!" Sorry, I am not an it for one. The manager then says, "Ain't you got anyone who can transfer money into your account?" I then had to tell her again after just telling the waitress that I have come out without my wallet (cards). I have cash only. She then said, "How much is the bill? I can't give you a change, "so I said, "So you really do accept cash if you're about to take mine, it's fine, keep the change." For me, that was not such a great service and very poor management all around. The first waitress with the green hair was good. Just like the Rum Kitchen in central London. I remember why I did not return and until they train their staff to a level of Professionalism and not some relaxed hipsters I will continue to keep this place at bay. I can't recommend this place to anyone.

   Service was absolutely horrible waited at the door to be hand waved from the middle off the restaurant floor to follow to the host Then coming towards end I order a a drink n waited for 20 minutes so I left

   The food was delicious, but the restaurant was pretty empty so there wasn't too much of an atmosphere as the room is quite big. If it was busier though I think it would have been 10/10.

   Awful! DO NOT GO HERE! Waste of time! I booked a table for 7 for a friends birthday celebration. I had high hopes as I’ve visited the Rum Kitchen in Brixton but I cannot believe how let down I was. When we arrived we were stood in the entrance for a good 5 mins before someone came to seat us. The front of house staff came to seat us but then realised the table wasn’t ready so sat us at the bar. A member of staff serving complained in a way that was loud enough to hear stating ‘why is he sitting people here, MOVE’. Already we felt unwelcome. Nobody asked us if we wanted a drink or anything. Almost like we didn’t exist. 5 mins later we were seated at 1:40pm. I gave the cake to a member of staff along with some candles to asking if they could bring it out after we’ve eaten (a normal request at a restaurant???) he said okay and took it. It got to 2.20pm and not a single member of staff came to ask us for our order. We kept asking staff to serve us and there response was one minute and nobody came. By time 2.30pm came the bottomless brunch wasn’t worth it and we decided to leave because nobody came to serve us. I approached one of the waitresses asking to get the cake and candles back as we were leaving and she said she doesn’t know about any cake. I told her I gave it to the front of house staff and she made me describe him in detail and even then she was unsure who I was talking about, so unorganised. She told me to wait at the bar and then proceeded to tell me if I wanted my cake I should go behind the bar and look myself. It felt like she was assuming I made it up or I should just leave without it. I was so annoyed and disappointed at this point. 5 mins later she located her staff member and gave me the cake. No apology, no sorry for keeping you waiting. Nothing. We ended up going box park and it was worth it. I noticed people who were having the bottomless brunch rarely got there drinks and would have to approach staff for more. A waste of time.

   Great atmosphere, drinks a little expensive for the quantity. A bit more belly than pork.

   Sunday Mothers Day Lunch- Cocktails we’re nice. Food was below average. I had to send back my curry mutton as it was so tough and rubbery I couldn’t even cut into any part of it. The waiter was not surprised to hear this… The rice and peas had around 3/4 peas present per portion. The salt fish fritters were very tasty Service is friendly but extremely slow. Toilets- disgusting- 2 cubicles where the toilets flush did not work. The music is the best part of the restaurant. I would recommend if you are looking for cocktails and maybe some light snacks but not for dinner or lunch.

    Rude staff. Food made me sick afterwards. Extremely cold in the venue. Overall, extremely bad experience!
