We have our roots in the Caribbean but we certainly are not your regular jerk shack! We have a few classics but even those have been given the Rum Kitchen twist.

After waiting 50 minutes for our drink I approached the bar to chase, a further 10 minute past and then I asked again. The manager did then come and see us, bring the drink and remove it from the bill, explaining they were understaffed. Communication is key, had they have informed us at time of ordering I may have felt a little more positive about my experience. A couple of items that weren’t ordered arrived whilst some of the group were still awaiting their food. When the bill came they had not removed the miscellaneous items so again, another issue.

went with colleagues after work and had the jerk chicken burger which was very flavourful. Great service and atmosphere. Will be back !

Food came in a plate too small and the pork was very burnt and bitter could not eat it. The cocktail and atmosphere very good.

Really enjoyed my curried mutton at Rum Kitchen Brixton on Wednesday. The cocktails are just as good too! the happy hour sure kept me and my friend happy! thank you Rum Kitchen.

The whole experience was horrible. The service was extremely poor, we waited an hour for our starters and 2 hours extra for the main to come out. It felt like they don’t value the customers and their business. So many customers sitting next to us got up and left due to the long wait. When we looked up the restaurant’s reviews we realised it’s the same complaints and there’s no exaggeration. The food was mediocre at best and not worth it for the price they were charging. I would not wish even for my worst enemy to experience their service, attitude of staff very appalling. Never experienced such poor, pathetic and horrible service even on street vendors. Recommend the owner and management take a hard look at the service, team and learn to value the customers who are bringing them business and paying them.
