The Roost has become one of our favorite places to dine both for special occasions and no occasion at all. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the food and drinks are always impeccable!

This was our first time to dine at The Roost and we really enjoyed it. Everything we ordered was excellent including the prime rib and the chimichanga. Our server Elisia was so sweet and she took great care of us. The prices were quite reasonable. My only complaint was that our table was too close to the diners next to us. Otherwise it was great.

This is probably one of the best places to have a wonderful dinner in Durango. The food is excellent, the menu is very diverse and the drinks are delicious. The atmosphere is really laid back, with great music in the background and a really good vibe all around. We went back twice to have dinner and both times were excellent.

We and 4 of our guests had dinner there and everyone raved about how good the food, the menu, the service and best of all, the price was. I think it is the best restaurant in Durango and we will definitely make it our first choice of place to eat in Durango.

We are so happy we found the Roost through Open Table. It has become one of our favorite spots in Durango. We love the food. It is reasonably priced and the service is wonderful. We look forward to our next visit.

Great first dining out in downtown Durango. Lovely experience! Our food was yummy. Cocktails too. Our server was very sweet. We we’re sat right next to another table in a little cubby when there were several other tables available in the restaurant which was a bit awkward. They finished before us so it wasn’t the end of the world. Would absolutely recommend to others (and have already posted on social about them! 😉)

They took us as a party of 12 with only a couple hours notice. Our waitress was absolutely terrific. She was not only pleasant and attentive, she brought dishes to the correct people even after they had switched seats. We stayed for and had fun doing a few rounds of trivia. Overall it was a very nice experience

The Roost has a good variety of small plates and entrees from which to choose. My husband had the Bang Bang Shrimp. It was wonderful! I had the Mahi tacos which was more than I could eat. The flavor combinations on both were fresh and perfect for a hot day. We asked for a quiet table and they delivered. Our server was very attentive without being overly so. It was a wonderful evening on every level and we look forward to our next visit.

The Roost was just brought to my attention by John & Kate Martin who ate there recently. I ate at the Roost with 4 of my friends on 7/6/23 at 5:30 p.m. 3 of us ate the Prime Rib and 1 ate the Cod dinner (a child ate wings and fries). All of us really enjoyed our dinners and plan to return soon. The prices were reasonable and the portions were hearty. The meals are basic in nature, which I prefer to the fancy “Decorated Plate” type of dining. I also liked that they are affiliated with OpenTable. My best surprise was finding out that Kelly (former server at Mutu’s Restaurant) was working at the Roost! How marvelous for all - Kelly is a gem and so glad you scooped her up!

Kelly the waitress was attentive, funny, and a pro when it came to our party of 12. The food we ordered was enjoyed by all! The head chef Dave has created an excellent menu that our group ages 8 to 81 all loved.

The Roost is pretty much our go-to restaurant when we want a dinner out. The chef is outstanding! Last night I had the salmon on avocado toast. The bread was toasted Naan and there was a wonderful mango sauce. It was new on the menu and did not disappoint. My husband just wanted an appetizer and had the fried raviolis, which were good, but he did not rave as much as I did. Our server was outstanding. We have had her before, and I am ashamed to say I don't know her name, but she has braids and serves in the side rooms. Be sure to have reservations!

Great food with an interesting menu, amazing drinks and service in a music themed, mountain restaurant with a nice vibe. Our waitperson couldn’t be friendlier and was attentive to our table even on a crowded Saturday evening.

One of the best meals of my life ! Mahi mahi over vegetable rice with curried aioli. Excellent mixed field greens dinner salad. Husband got prime rib perfectly cooked. Dessert was one of top two desserts I’ve ever had in my life (along with profiteroles in Paris !): glazed crepes filled with white chocolate soft cheesecake topped with berries. Wow !
