   Lovely surroundings with Xmas decorations everywhere but the service and food was not perfect enough for a Michelin star. Our main course of Brill was undercooked in the middle and my husband’s mackerel starter was too small and not great either. The soufflés with Armagnac and prune ice cream were huge and lovely although some caramelised pears with it would have made it even nicer. The wine list is very expensive too and they did not have the Picpoul that we ordered. We were offered another Italian wine, but it was no match so we ordered a more expensive South African Sauvignon Blanc instead. The complimentary dessert wine, the canapés and sweets were nice extras. Finally, the staff were very rushed and not that well organised, so service was not up to scratch. This was not helped by the fact that the restaurant was full and there was also a large family group near us, babies and buggies too!

   40th wedding anniversary dinner. Went with the 6 course menu with fine wines, excellent from start to finish. Very knowledgeable waiters and sommeliers on the food and wine. Location really outstanding. Well worth the money to help celebrate with the one(s) you love and care for.

   The finest dining experience ever! Chef's surprise 6+ courses with fine wines, piano string quartet with singer. Where else would you find this ambience and delicious food? Far exceeded our expectations.

   The waiters in the restaurant was not really pay attention with us as we notice they always asked other customer want some more bread but they didn't asked us .. Probably we are Chinese that y they no bother at all .. But at the end we also left some tips for them ..

   We had the set lunch menu which was beautifully cooked and very well presented with some excellent sauces. The service was impeccable! All that, together with the lovely surroundings, made it into a very memorable occasion. We shall certainly come again.

   Fantastic venue, really good staff but food and wine expensive so you need a special occasion or be related to the Agar Khan. The five of us chose from the a la carte menu and all were pleased with the choices. Food was not that memorable but was presented with a lot of flair so we felt cherished.

    Classic food in a classic environment. Expect high class but unflashy food. Expect excellent service but high prices - especially the wine list. Tables well spaced out so good for conversation. Good to do once in a while for a special occasion, such as great uncle George's 90th birthday.
