Always a great special meal; every dish always great.
Food preparation was okay. Some dishes oversalted and cocktails were very sweet.
Food was amazing, same
Easter Sunday dinner. Wonderful food and views!
Amazing food and service

Simply perfect! Wonderful food, delicious drinks, phenominal staff, breathtaking views. Could not ask for a better overall experience.
Our dining experience was outstanding!! Chef was on point with the menu. Service provided by Ian and the rest of the staff was amazing.
Excellent from start to finish
Long Wait to be seated, reservation set for 7pm, checked in at 6:55pm and informed they were waiting for people dining before us to clear out, we are a party of 2 and saw other parties of 2 seated before us.
I’m not talking 10-15mins, it was 45minutes before they seated us, no offer of a cocktail while we waited, manager never stopped over to the table to check on us, on the flip side our waitress was informative and very personable.
The food was delicious but we started with such a sour note it really ruined the night for me.
I’d go back to mama’s fish house before I would return here.
We liked the option of the 3 or 4 course dinner at a set price and the fact that they offer a reasonable corkage fee. The wait staff was fantastic. Malani and Nik? Excellent service.
The first two courses were not bad, but not great. Honestly, I’ve never had a scallop second course that consisted of just a single scallop. Two would have been better. I ordered the steak and paid the extra $30 for the ribeye. It was tender and flavorful, but not worth the extra money. My wife had the flank steak. I have to say it was the toughest piece of steak we’ve ever had at a nice restaurant. Very disappointing and the chef should be ashamed of trying to pass it off as a quality dish, particularly at those prices.
It was the most expensive meal we’ve had in the island and the worst food.
Maui resident since 1994, first time dining at Hotel Wailea, it was outstanding. Food was incredible. Staff super nice and knowledgeable. Great location and ambiance. One of the better dining experiences I have had on Maui. Strongly recommend putting Hotel Wailea on the short list of restaurants to dine at.
It was the best meal I’ve had in a very long time. Service was friendly and very attentive. I would definitely go here again and again. Everything was very tasty. Especially the ricotta app!
We have eaten here many times. However, menu had changed this year to a choice of3 or 4 courses. Several good choices. All 4 in our party was very happy with their choices. We had a great table for 4 in a quiet, secluded area. Beautiful view, wonderful food and great service made for a wonderful evening. Benjamin was a great server and His assistant with a lovely Turkish name was also great. I highly recommend.
The ambiance and service were great, we were seated promptly and ordered quickly, with food coming out at the right time. One of our guests was in the restroom when the main course came out, so they held his dish under heat in the kitchen until he got back, which I thought was a nice touch that I've never seen before at a restaurant. For a pre- fixe menu, the food was good, but not great. We were also disappointed to learn that we were charged for three bottles of water, not realizing they were serving us bottled water vs tap (we would have been perfectly fine with tap had we known each bottle was $10). It is to be expected that an upscale restaurant would serve bottled water, but a heads up that tap was also an option would have been appreciated, especially with such a pricey bill to begin with. I wouldn't go back, mostly because I did not think the food was entirely worth the price, but still a nice experience, good service, and a beautiful setting.
Tasting menu was on point. Had a little delay for our seating, so had some cocktails at the bar. Chad is awesome - super friendly, great bartender.
Loved all the courses for dinner. Recommend the strawberry tart if it is available for dessert. Ian was our server and he is great - very personably, efficient, yet didn't rush us.
This is a wonderful restaurant.
Birthday I don’t want to review.
Wonderful setting in the more private lower patio amongst the trees. The service was superb and the food was excellent. A very memorable anniversary dinner.
Beautiful sunset this evening. Service was warm and friendly and the pre fixe menu includes very special offerings in each category. My washugyu beef, the rib eye version was amazing and full of flavor. This experience is a must while visiting Maui .
The service was fantastic, the food was excellent. Looking for our next meal there in the near future.
Love the food and view!!
The food was excellent as was our server and server’s assistant. However, my expectations at a Relais & Chateaux affiliated restaurant is an impeccable overall experience and this was not it. We had made reservations two days in advance and I had called to confirm. We were told we would be seated in their beautiful garden. When we got there, they didn’t seat us until 20 minutes after our reservation. They tried to seat us in their bar seating - which was empty due to COVID. I’m not sitting in the bar to eat a $125 prixe fix meal. Then we waited for awhile and they sat us on the wall side of a balcony - would be a great spot at 6:30 for sunset, but it didn’t have the romantic ambiance of the garden. The other major issue was the food pacing was incredibly slow- I recognize timing is a fine art but this was noticeably slow, noticeably late. And we kept getting served after people who had arrived after us. I get that these things happen but again- if you have the R&C badge, I’m expecting excellence. Food wise, it’s worth going (the food is very, very good), but be prepared for hiccups.
Wonderful place. Nice table outside in the garden. The music could have been softer.
This property feels like you're in a James Bond movie! Truly exotic and stunning atmosphere. The access is a little unapproachable but we eventually figured out you need to wait at the closed gates. The attendants for valet parking were absent so we self parked and when we walked up they were a bit aloof and cold but once we entered the restaurant everything was perfect! Excellent service and elevated food! Not to mention a beautiful sunset! Truly memorable! (And I never review anything!)
Great ambiance, service and food!
Amazing food service and view.
The menu had potential. We always enjoy fresh seafood. The special fish had a cumin sauce. My husband and I felt cumin on a delicate fish can be overpowering so we chose not to order this. The waiter said the other fish preparation did not have cumin. We ordered this. Beautiful preparation but cumin in this dish also. The waiter did ask the chef after we stated it had it in it and low and behold, Cumin. We were not offered any replacement but at the end of the meal they offered desert. The entire experience was ruined for us. We will not go back.
I made a reservation thru Open Table...they corresponded with me several times before our dinner...we were seated in a very intimate, private setting at 5:45 so we could view the sunset, our waitress was very professional, but engaging and interested in each member of our party. The food and presentation were beyond outstanding. The wine list is extensive with many price points. We would definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant to any and everyone. A definite treat when you visit Wailea!
Chef and servers did a terrific job accommodating my wife's numerous special dietary restrictions—often a challenge for restaurants—to deliver one of the best four-course meals we've ever had. A great way to celebrate our 25th anniversary!
Was wonderful and we will return!
Excellent ambience, food and service!!! Very accommodating and friendly!
This place was absolutely amazing. Some of the best food we have ever had. 10/10
Visited this restaurant exactly a year ago and loved it. Since then, it seems to have gotten much more expensive, with a limited menu, and the meal was not at all impressive. I had the four course meal, and only one of the four courses would I ever order to eat again, that being the main course which was a fillet steak. Otherwise, very small sized, odd portions of everything else. Not worth the money!
The horrible service was so disappointing that it took away from the beautiful atmosphere and great food.
We really enjoyed the new style of menu, The new chef has done an outstanding job pairing ingredients. Everything about our dining experience was perfect including our the great service we received from Ben.
We looking forward to a return visit soon
