Fire led modern European cooking, served in a warm vibrant dining room.

Reservations open on the 1st of each month for the following month, for groups up to 6 guests. Bookings for August open on the 1st July at 10am. For larger groups please email bookings@theparakeetpub.com. We serve our A la Carte menu Monday to Saturday, and Roasts on Sundays.

the food was delicious, the chicken specially! the beef was good although a bit stringy/chewy which you wouldn’t expect from the caliber of the restaurant. The only real issue was that the dining room was absolutely boiling, no fans on, windows closed, etc- I think for warm days they urgently need to think of options for that dining room!

Another outstanding experience! This was my second visit, and it was just as superb as the first. The service was exceptional— staff incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. Every dish was beautifully creative and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to come back again.

Had the Sunday roast menu in the bar seating and thought it would be relaxed but quite a busy loud atmosphere. Fish was delicious but salty. Might have been ok had the cabbage and potatoes not been so salty too, plus greasy Yorkshire. Cocktail amazing. Building beautiful. Staff friendly (albeit have to be flagged down to get a menu kind of thing as they think someone else is helping you). Accommodating with a child. It was nice to experience but the food didn’t stand up to the reputation. Hope to go back sans- child to experience the full menu and hope food is better.

This is not the first time we’ve been to The Parakeet. We felt rushed to the table, our starters were so quick that we felt we were rushed through those as well. Our drinks took a long time to arrive, we had finished our starters by the time they had. We received one of our next dishes and the other took 15 more minutes so we sat staring at one while we waited for the other. Finally the chocolate mousse wasn’t good. The waiting staff were kind but it wasn’t a great experience.

I recently visited Parakeet in Kentish Town for dinner with my partner and was thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional and full of flavor especially the Seabream. Service was exceptional too, very friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was cozy yet contemporary and a relaxed vibe. Just want to say thank you to all for making our evening memorable.

First time eating at the Parakeet and it did not disappoint. Super friendly staff and one of the best Sunday Roasts we have had in London. The wine was amazing, the Sticky Toffee Pudding topped any dessert I've ever had, and our server was great. Thanks again.

This was the second time at the Parakeet and the food, ambiance, staff, drinks etc were all perfect like my first visit. This has become my new favourite restaurant and I can't wait to go back. Delicious but unpretentious.
