Fantastic kale salad and loved the cocktail list. Looking forward to returning next time in town.
Excellent food. The lobster Mac and cheese was sweet and creamy; the blackened salmon was tasty with just the right spices. The server as the host were both gracious and pleasant. If you haven’t been there yet… you have to book dinner there very soon. The Neely House is a nice surprise in a city of chain restaurants.
Great food and ambiance. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable.
Excellent food. Wait staff servers cordial and accommodating. Relaxed, comfortable ambience. Historic beauty restoration
Very nice place to sit, relax, and visit on a special occasion. No rush with the time you take and very patience staff.
I had heard good things about Neely House and decided to make a reservation to celebrate my birthday with family. Everyone enjoyed the food and quiet atmosphere. Our server was super helpful and polite, as well. Will definitely be going back!
Food and service were excellent! The house was very impressive. Really took the time to make it warm and inviting.
Went for brunch with the girls. Seated right away, very polite staff. Took just a bit to actually be spoken to for drink order after being seated but everything was prompt after that. Food was excellent, you can't go wrong with whatever you order.
Have already recommended to several people. WILL be back to try the dinner menu. Recommend making reservations ahead 👌
I’ve decided that brunch is my favorite meal to have here. I love the preparation and seasoning/ flavor of every item on the menu. The bacon … I could order a plateful- it should just be a shareable item for the table. The French toast is perfect! The omelet was full of flavor. The side roasted potatoes could be a dish unto themselves. I haven’t even touched on the beverages. My friend and I don’t make coffee at home before coming because we know it will taste better there. We have found that the peach and ginger mojito hits every drink desire for us. I love that the value for the money is so good that you don’t feel like it is a splurge or special occasion treat. It can be a regular treat to yourself!
My first time here! And it was amazing. I loved the building itself and decor, the environment was so peaceful and welcoming. The food was amazing and worth every penny. Our waitress was the best, very friendly and fast. And overall the experience was great! I will definitely come back.
A true gem for eastern Indiana and specifically, Muncie. Relaxed ambience. Service excellent. Food- second to NONE. We eat at many Indianapolis area restaurants. Neely House rivals the finest!!!!!!!!!!!!
The steaks were not awesome. The sliders were a little messy. There was hardly any potatoe purée on the plate maybe 4 asparagus
Wonderful food, beautiful design, and a memorable night!
The food was excellent, atmosphere pleasant and staff helpful and accommodating as usual.
Great experience, first time there. Went for brunch, lots of delicious choices on the menu. Service was excellent and the coffee was fantastic! Will definitely be going back, loved the atmosphere!!
Above and Beyond
Food and drinks well priced
We had such a wonderful brunch! We are age-old friends who live in multiple cities and states, and were searching for a special place for our get together. The Newly House certainly met, and exceeded!, every expectation. The menu was amazing, the drink offerings were intriguing and expertly mixed. The ambiance of the restoration and the servers all combined to make this a special event, and one place we can honestly recommend to our friends.
The French toast is to die for! Excellent service; our water glasses were kept full.
We had a girls day out starting with brunch at the Neely House. It did not disappoint. The food was great, especially the French Toast with Berry Compote. Will definitely be back to visit for dinner.
Amazing! Great atmosphere, beautiful setting! Filet was cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. The Duck was surprising, but I world order again. We will be back!
Food was great. Service and atmosphere were also outstanding. Not something one would expect to find in Muncie, Indiana.
Was mine and my husbands first visit! Not our last! The service was good, waitress was excellent…attentive, patient(first timers), and answered all questions we had about the food(some of which I had to look up first). The atmosphere was great! The ambiance was delicate which made it quite nice and relaxing for me; with the soft yet some deep color, the easy classical listening music to the library feel! The only thing for “me” is what I see as mutilated books glued to the walls. I am a fan of breathing, the beauty of trees, and a fan to respecting those who put in the work to write for our knowledge, entertainment, and passion. However, that hasn’t deterred me from coming to enjoy the atmosphere, people, and most definitely and deliciously the food! I ordered the in bone rib eye, came with asparagus and puréed potatoes and my husband had ordered the baked Campanelle lobster. When they brought our food my first thought was hmm I feel my husband and I should switch plates, because my order was so much bigger than his lol! My steak was huge and so juicy and tasty I had to share with my husband and still brought a lot of it home!! He shared his with me and his baked campanelle lobster was very good too!!! We really have no complaints!! Just YUM!!
TABLE SERVICE WAS GREAT, SEEMED LIKE SHE DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH SUPPORT. FRYER BROKEN WENT FOR THE FRIED CHICKEN. DRINKS WERE GREAT. MAYBE A SIGN OF THE TIMES.
My wife and I have eaten here several times and it's one of our favorite spots. However, drink service was very slow. Food was fantastic as usual.
Great place to enjoy beautiful weather and delicious food!
This was our first and last trip to The Neely House. While the ambiance and food were wonderful...we did not plan on being there for a 2 hour tour while we waited for our meals.
We were in town from Texas and found The Neely House. Except for the slow service and 3 hours later our experience with the quality of food, ambience was exceptional.
Good bye party
Today was our second visit here and we truly enjoyed it!
We ate outside this time instead of inside and our service was wonderful. The drinks were delicious, food arrived in a timely manner and our waiter was attentive and outstanding! We've already made reservations for next weekend! We appreciate this place beyond words not only for the food and the care taken at the details but that something so wonderful is so close to home!
Way too loud! Way too close! No privacy to carry on our own atmosphere. Everyone was aware of what everyone else was doing. We did not like that experience in fine dining. Sorry !
1 outta 5
It was a great day with wonderful food and service!
Delicious food with a great atmosphere. Will return
This restaurant exceeds expectations. Beautiful decor, great food , drinks and service. A special and memory making experience with our college student grandson.
This was one of the best experiences I have had in my life. I’ll be back!
We had an amazing evening. The server was very attentive, food was perfect especially the tuna, and drinks were superb. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Birthday! Great outdoor patio with lots of seating.
Excellent food and service. Top notch. Highly recommend this place.
The Neely House is one of our favorite places to eat dinner. We had never had brunch there before and had out of state guests coming. We were all impressed and look forward to returning!
This was a very charming and delicious place for brunch. We ate inside but outside also looked lovely. Food was very good.
We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary!
Best cocktail - smoked Manhattan!!
