The Met Kitchen
We were seated outside. Staff was attentive without being intrusive. Beverages were replenished quickly. Food was tasty; we ordered lobster rolls and deviled eggs. The lobster roll was good but the deviled eggs weren’t stellar. We also enjoyed lobster tacos that were outstanding.
Enjoyed the chicken and waffles!
The wine list really needs some work. The food was really good, but would have been much better if it was paired with some good wine. They don't need expensive wines, but what they serve can be bought retail for $10-$15 per/bottle.
Great food. Great service. Karl our server was the BESt!!!!
Food was great and service was too—something for everyone
Very accommodating when requested outdoor table. Excellent food!
The restaurant was closed; despite, accepting our reservation through open table
The charcuterie board was made with old stuff, not fresh. We showed it to our waitress, she apologized, took it back and took it off our check. Later she said there are some new people in the kitchen and they didn’t cover the ends of the cheese, prosciutto and jamón serrano, lol. Also, the crab roll tasted like canned tuna salad and the bread roll was soggy.
Nice place, decent service, terrible food. Stay away from it.
Not sure if the error was on the restaurant or Open Table, but we arrived to find that the restaurant was closed. We confirmed the date/time on our Open Table reservation and all was correct, but the restaurant had a sign on the door that they were not open Mon/Tues of every week. We were obviously very disappointed and had to go to our 2nd choice.
We had a very nice server. The drinks were gods. However, the food was very average and came out at different times. We finished before our Le friends got food! It was that long! Lobster tacos were dry. Wouldn’t go back. Sorry.
Gabby was wonderful, and took great care of us at the bar! Looking forward to coming back soon!
I always look forward to going to this restaurant when I'm in Beaver Creek. I highly recommend it!
Always warmly welcomed. Great small plates and drinks. Quick service.
We were very pleasantly surprised by The Met Kitchen. From a welcome to the restaurant that made us feel like we were regular customers to a wonderful array of choices, every one of which we sampled was delicious. Our server was delightful, and having planned this dinner as a packing break prior to our departure from Beaver Creek the following day, the dinner was a highlight of our visit.
Attentive staff, great small plates, exciting atmosphere. It’s a perennial winner.
Great food and relaxing atmosphere.
Everything was exceptionally tasty. The portions were all very large. We ordered two small plates for two people and brought quite a bit home. The service was wonderful .
Disappointing. Wine experience not good. They have this wine kiosk you put your cc in . Very impersonal and staff knew nothing about the wines. Hair in my short ribs a mess!
Food is amazing. Great tapas place.
Food was very good (dishes where you share). Not a fancy place but good food and service. Reasonably priced wine.
The idea is great, just not quite executed well. The cute tables and window seats were awkward if you’re not the right height. The food was good but not great and the martini I ordered was not good (they didn’t charge me for it). The Short Rib Stuffed Mushrooms were the highlight, I can definitely recommend them if you decide to give it a try.
Food was not very good especially for the price and portion size.
Hostess Thayer is obnoxious. Should not be greeting people; she’s really such a nasty person and has no consideration for anyone.
The worst service I have ever experienced! Sat with empty water and wine glasses for almost an hour while waiting for our food. Seemed drastically under staffed- so why take reservations on open table?!
Some dishes were unavailable and those that were ... have room for improvement
Great restaurant but they need to update their menu. We have been going there since the place opened. And it would be helpful if they could work on their ventilation. After leaving the restaurant we all smelled as if we had cooked in their kitchen. Not the greatest!
The Met Kitchen has great food - available in servings for groups. It's fun with vivacious atmosphere.
Servers good but they do get busy. Need to have patience when they get busy.
Great place for a get together with friends
Very Good Food to share
Intriguing wine selection, with an automated card-based wine dispenser that was fun to use. Exceptional service and excellent food. A fun place to visit.
The service was very bad. Our waitress turned into the bartender and forgot about us. Our plates were never cleared. The lobster taco was not good.
They are kind of like a TAPAS restaurant. Everything was good. I would definitely try to go there at least once on a trip to BC
Great food to share and close to the slopes. Love the selection of Colorado spirits and the ambiance is fun and not too loud. Great for a bite and drinks as apres or before a show at the Vilar, and they have amazing staff too!
Great food. Great service. Always feel welcome and special.
For the first time I made an OpenTable rewards reservation. When I attempted to use it the server told me they took OpenTable reservations but were not set up to take OpenTable rewards. I was very embarrassed. I have eaten at this restaurant many times. I cannot go back now.
It took me 5 phone calls to reach OpenTable. When I did they told me the restaurant should have taken the rewards card. Do not go here and expect to use an OpenTable rewards card.
It’s hard to describe the experience at this restaurant. Suffice it to say the best part was our nice waiter. There are plenty of drink choices so I’d say go here to drink not to eat.
The space with nice and unique. This functions more as a bar that serves some food, rather than a restaurant. The food was not very flavorful, the food service wasn't great and it was VERY noisy. Overall, not a great place for dinner, especially with young kids. However, if you're looking for a nice place for drinks and some snacks with an adult group, this place would be good.
I was exited to try this place after a few days of burgers and sandwiches on my snowboard trip at Beaver Creek.
The restaurant is spacious and seating are comfortable, really friendly staffs.
We start off with a bottle of bubbly to go with the meat and cheese plate. The server was really nice to notice that I don’t like goat cheese, he brought out some manchego for me. With that said, service was great.
After that, we order New England Lobster Roll and Papperadelle Wild Mushroom Ravioli to share. For supposedly small plate, they were not stingy at all. It was a lot and we couldn’t finished. However, the food was just so-so. I really wish it was better.
Food wise 2 stars, adding 1 star for good service.
Delicious! Chose this as our last dinner in Beaver Cr on Mom-Daughter ski trip. Shared Carnitas Tacos (outstanding), Lobster Tacos (who doesn’t love lobster?) and Italian Flatbread (with Lamb Meatballs, yum!). Later on a Sun night, so pretty quiet. Cozy. Prices quite reasonable for BC.
We had a blast! The food was delicious and the service was incredible we will definitely be back
