   This is our second time dining at The Marine Room, and it was as wonderful as it was the first time. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday while his parents were in town. The staff made my husband feel special from the host to all the servers to the specialized menu made for him. I was beyond enthusiastic with the table they provided us near the corner where there were views of the ocean and the beach. My in-laws were amazed with the view, attentive service by Lilly, the delicious mocktails, and fantastic food. Usually with fine dining, the portions can be small. But I was happy that all of our meals filled us. Lilly even made sure my 8 year old son had a meal that he would actually eat. They made him buttered noodles with a salmon filet and peas on top. He was so happy. Yes, it is on the pricier end, but it was well worth it! The Marine Room has easily become one of our favorite places in to dine in San Diego. We look forward to our next visit.

   Beautiful space, delightful food, and awesome service! My fiancé and I had dinner here right after our marriage proposal. They made the night unforgettable. Thank you! We are both gluten free and they were able to accommodate most of the menu for us as well.

   Having traditional spend our wedding anniversary here for three consecutive years, we consistently experience exceptional 5-star service at this restaurant, with every detail thoughtfully executed. The intimate atmosphere is perfect for special occasions with my wife, making it a cherished dining spot for us. However, we’ve noticed occasional disruptions from non-patrons freely entering and exiting the premises, which slightly detracts from the private ambiance. On one occasion, we were surprised to witness an outsider take chocolates from another customer’s plate. While this may be an isolated incident, it felt out of place for such an upscale setting. We hope the management can address this to ensure the experience remains flawless.

    From start to finish the service and atmosphere was impeccable. The sommelier was personable and knowledgeable. The server was winsome and was always at the ready yet not at all bothersome. All food was expertly prepared and delicious, esp the caviar bites! The team work of the staff was seamless. They provided us with a special menu for our 33rd anniversary and gave us complimentary champagne for celebrating. It was a very special night in a very special place.
