Incredible experience!! The food was perfection. Our server, Jonathan, was so informative with the descriptions of the food and so polite and friendly. I went for my 45th birthday, had a personalized menu and a surprise piece of lemon lavender cake. Absolutely delicious!!

Went there for our anniversary celebration and it did not disappoint. While it is on the pricier side of fine dining the view more than makes up for it. The food was just as amazing as the view!

The Marine Room view was beautiful. However I through for the price the furniture and service would have been nicer. We sat for some time without drinks a few times , however the server was nice.

The menu has been newly revamped -- some old favorites and some new items. I tried the. New Tasmanian ocean trout (who knew there were ocean trout?). It was amazing. It looks like salmon, but it has a lighter, almost buttery flavor. My husband stuck with his usual ny strip, which, he said, was cooked to perfection. We must go back to try some of the other items.

We had higher expectations. Took my boyfriend for his birthday here and really appreciated the cake that was brought out for him. Our server was outstanding. The food I was a bit disappointed with. I was expecting a little too much. We ordered the swordfish and the trout. It wasn’t the best we have tasted. I felt as if I was eating a piece of chicken and the mushrooms were just overly salty. The best thing there was the lobster bisque. The main courses could be better. I have gone to Roy’s the day before and I recommend their fish choices there. And we couldn’t even be seated next to the window and close to the inner wall where we couldn’t see the view much either. Was disappointed by that as well.

This is our second time dining at The Marine Room, and it was as wonderful as it was the first time. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday while his parents were in town. The staff made my husband feel special from the host to all the servers to the specialized menu made for him. I was beyond enthusiastic with the table they provided us near the corner where there were views of the ocean and the beach. My in-laws were amazed with the view, attentive service by Lilly, the delicious mocktails, and fantastic food. Usually with fine dining, the portions can be small. But I was happy that all of our meals filled us. Lilly even made sure my 8 year old son had a meal that he would actually eat. They made him buttered noodles with a salmon filet and peas on top. He was so happy. Yes, it is on the pricier end, but it was well worth it! The Marine Room has easily become one of our favorite places in to dine in San Diego. We look forward to our next visit.
