   I came for lunch with a friend, food was good, excellent choice and no pressure to eat a lot at lunch time which was welcome. Good value for money and house wine was fine. I’m noise averse so difficult for me to comment but it was really no noisier than any popular venue. Service was excellent, friendly and not pushy, Greek coffee a bonus.

   I booked this restaurant for a lunch with work colleagues to mark the end of the year. The staff were very friendly and accommodating but I was concerned that they appeared to have 'lost' our booking, despite the fact that it was booked and confirmed online with OpenTable. This would make me apprehensive about using this service to book again. The food was good but fairly basic Greek fare, with some choices unavailable and others not enough, so people had to chose again. My colleagues and I enjoyed the meal though. On the whole I would recommend the restaurant for ambience, it has character and is clean and friendly. I think I would need to go there for different times, for example, an evening to be able to comment fully on the services/menu offered.

   A friend and I had a very tasty dinner here this week. The saganaki to start was well cooked, as were both our mains (risotto and the daily special - grilled octopus [so tender a knife was barely needed]with a nice fava bean puree). The server found the right balance between attentiveness and leaving us alone. There are lots of choices for vegetarians and gluten-free diners. Everything is made to order, so it's not the place to be if you are in a massive rush, but this is partly why the food is so good, I assume. I've been here several times and will be back.

   We had a great dinner - food was lovely, wine was delicious (great suggestions by our waiter) and the service was very good. It was a great atmosphere for a get-together of friends.

   Food was decent (as usual) but the service left a lot to be desired. The wrong food was brought out on one occasion (and then added to the bill even though no-one had ordered it). One item was unavailable which meant two of our party had to reorder. Another item (a very simple one) the "trilogy" was brought out after everyone else had been served. We then had to send the bill back three times as it was incorrect. Our waiters/waitresses were all very apologetic but it was overall a poor dining experience that spoilt a welcome lunch for a new member of our team. We have visited The Life Goddess a number of times for team lunches and never a had problem previously. Sadly, I don't think we'll be coming back in a hurry which is a real shame :-(

   This restaurant is refreshingly and authentically informal with an inspired Greek menu that avoids the usual cliches while not trying too hard to be modern. Not everything works however and while some dishes were delightful some we're marred by being a little too savoury or a little too sweet.

    Great independent Greek deli and restaurant. This was a casual working lunch, but a good job we reserved and got there early as the place was full by 1pm. The food was excellent, with friendly service - perfect.
