At The Library, the familiar aroma of coffee, the promise of a delicious meal, and the anticipation of friendly buzz will offer a reprieve from the daily chaos. It is where the community as a whole comes to refill their cup, both proverbially and, often, quite literally. You will find dining options both inside and outside, as well as at the bar. For walk-up service, our pastry counter offers coffee, tea and pastries throughout the day. We look forward to serving the community, visitors, and hospital staff alike.

    We were so appreciative of our time at the Library. The service was excellent and made our time enjoyable with his thoughtful pacing of our courses. Each course was an adventure for the palate. The combination of ingrediences were satisfying and invited us into the next course. We were there on a Wednesday which was wine half price, which made the meal very affordable. We love food and the next time we are in town, The Library will be on our list!

    Clean neat large windows you can look out and see the lightning and thunder and rain and sun and that’s good. It lacks old world ambience which they try to achieve, but it’s kind of impossible with all the glass. It’s conveniently located. Thought the prices were a little high forthe quantity and quality of the food you received. I would not necessarily stay away from the place, but it’s good to go there once in a while.

    The food all looked amazing, options for vegitarian and vegan as well, and everything at the tables near us also looked wonderful! Highly suggest the Bread Board and the Never Ending Story!

    Signature scallop dish was good, but scallops were overcooked. If it’s your signature dish, you need to nail that dish better. Squash dish was tasty, but the rice side was about one quarter the size it should have been. Not enough food for that price.

    The library is a great venue, especially if you are visiting the hospital for more than a few hours. The ambiance & design is super fun! The food was 3/5. The buffalo cauliflower we ordered were served on a plate in a puddle of cooking oil/sauce which made me & my lunch companion only taste top portion of the dish vs really dig in and enjoy it. Any food dripping in oil as such, is unappealing. Draining the dish prior to plating would’ve been appropriate and preferred. The goat cheese and bread were not very flavorful (I’ve had the same dish at Oxford Exchange and it was a 10/10, I was hoping for the same, but I’d say it unfortunately missed the mark of our expectations. The restaurant did bring a birthday treat to the table for dessert, which was extremely thoughtful and enjoyable. Not sure I would drive from South Tampa again to visit the restaurant.

    I love this restaurant! They really go out of their way to accommodate their customers, especially if something isn't quite right. The food is terrific, and the portion sizes are just what you'd expect. They’re even great with toddlers — very thoughtful and welcoming. Highly recommend!

    Overall we really enjoyed our meal. The food was excellent and so was the staff. I had the steak sandwich and my wife had a salad with fried chicken
