    Have lived in Boulder over30 years and was one of The Kitchen’s first customers. Our dinner last night was as magical as the first dinner we ever had with you! Simply fabulous! We travel and dine around the world at top restaurants and literally last night’s dinner was one of our best ever! Great job!! Bravo!

    The place is happening. Style of restaurant is light, open and inviting. The staff was personable and well informed, the food was very good on flavors, and preparation. Some of the small plates should be served for 4 or 2 depending on your dinner party….having 3 or 4 items come out w 3 pieces to try at a four top just deflates the experience a little. Restaurant can be a little noisy because of the higher ceilings.

    Years ago, my wife stopped going to the Kitchen because she felt judged by the 18-something at the door. I thought it was just in her head before I experienced it myself. The obvious evaluation with the resulting judgment that you are not one of the in-people of Boulder who deserve to sit in the main restaurant, and you are sent up to sit in the noisy cocktail bar despite having a reservation. Like my wife, I will not return.

    Good but did not meet expectations. I had a much better experience at The Kitchen In Denver. Fries are EXCELLENT though!!

    Our Father's Day brunch was a very bad experience. The Kitchen used to be one of my favorites for both business and fun, but I don't know if I'll be back again. We sat for 40 minutes without being served any food. Our drink "ticket" was lost, so we got a drink very late. When we asked if there was bread or something to tide us over while we waited our 40 minutes for food, the waiter said, "That will be an extra upcharge". Needless to say, it was not a pleasant experience. After 40 minutes, we decided we couldn't wait any longer for our food - none was in sight, so we went to Centro, where they took good care of us. When I was leaving The Kitchen, I asked the waiter if he wanted to charge me for the half of a drink that I consumed, and he tried to get us to talk to a manager. At that point, I had completely run out of patience. We left. Sorry to be negative, but there is no other way to describe our experience.
