   Outstanding food and service. It's really sad to see people protesting against The Kitchen because of the actions by Elon, Kimball's brother. Kimball is a great member of our community and provided us with this wonderful restaurant. Shame on the citizens of Boulder who take such petty actions against this restaurant and the local citizens who work there.

   Food was outstanding. Music was horrible. Not sure why restaurants don’t put coffeehouse type of music. Server was great!

   Jenna provided us with an outstanding experience at The Kitchen! Her helpful and friendly disposition was so great when we called to say we were running a bit late due to traffic. She also kindly helped us join our table with friends who also had a rsvp at the same time! We were all headed to a Graduation Ceremony and Jenna ensured that our party walked out on time for our event without feeling rushed. We had a great at dinner - the food and service were excellent! Thank you to Jenna and The Kitchen for a memorable celebration!

   We’ve loved the kitchen for years and scheduled a late lunch to celebrate a graduation. Sadly, it was a big disappointment on May 9, 2025. The waiter rushed through orders and then vanished. Getting an iced tea took over a half hour after other got their drinks. Ten minutes after ordering found out they were out of an entree and one guest had to order something else. French fries for apps took forever and then two minutes later one entree out of six was served. The rest didn’t show for ten minutes. When I got up and found the waiter to tell him we’d been served one entree ten minutes ago he said they were backed up. I said just don’t bring out one plate to sit there and get cold…bring them all at once. He never took that plate back and ten minutes later brought the other meals. Steak was very touch, my chicken sandwich dry and not much flavor…over all so very disappointing!!!! We’ve always loved it and wow, so sad I picked it for our special meal. On top of it all it was so loud we were all shouting…bummer.

   Shout out to the servers … not only do they look like calendar-ready athletic frat grad models, but their level of attention to service, teamwork, and communication was legendary. The exquisite service is the primary takeaway. That and the carrots!

   They call it family style. Portions are quite small but food was good. Pretty pricey for tiny serving size. Carrots were delicious

   Outstanding food beautifully prepared with subtle global flavors that make The Kitchen a unique foodie lovers experience. The chef has traveled the world and delivers those tastes to your table. We love this place. Most of the produce comes from local farms. And lots of choices for pescatarians. We love the shrimp, crab fried rice, and tiraditu.

    Terrible service. Slow to bring drink, slower to bring wine, no care or attention to detail, app and main brought out within 2 min of each other, just unfortunate given that I’ve been here before and enjoyed it. It feels like they’re waning, perhaps losing focus as they’ve expanded to Chicago, Austin etc. I won’t try again for awhile.
