I'm always up for local dining experiences wherever I visit, and I wound up making a reservation here for brunch. The Crispy Cauliflower was great and so was the service. Everything on the menu looked so appetizing. I ordered the Quiche and Croque Monsieur to go, which I shared with hubby later in the afternoon. They also did not disappoint.

Had a great experience at the Kitchen last night. We had tried the location in Denver before but this was the first time to the Boulder restaurant. My husband and I are gluten-free and my parents were on a schedule to catch a flight out of DEN, so we had some restrictions. The server was very kind and attentive on both fronts. Food was great and came out quickly so we even had some time for dessert.

Went early. Pleasant server, a grad student at CU. Interesting flavors. I liked that the food is served family style so that diners get to taste everything.

Delicious…my fourth time to eat at The Kitchen and by far the best food yet. The rigatoni was amazing. The tomato salad was perfectly seasoned with subtle pickling of onions and cukes. The mint was a perfect addition. The French fries are always good. Service is always pleasant and professional. Highly recommend!

Our server was really nice. Service good except I never got my entree ( cod) and didn’t mention because she said that things would come out at different times. I nibbled on the salad and the things others at the table ordered until she asked about dessert. And that point, I no longer wanted my entree when everyone else was ready for dessert. Gem salad was fabulous, but chicken and the potatoes/fries were so so salty. I had a few bites of the chicken, several fries, 1/2 of the gem salad, and the chocolate dessert so I left hungry and thirsty due to the amount of salt in the food. prices were way out of control we felt.

Consistently terrific service, food and vibe. Fantastic dishes! We tried a dozen different dishes and every one was delicious. Fantastic for groups since meals are family style.

Our entrees were somehow very creative but also delivered with the consistency you expect from traditional dishes. We're from Boston and the lobster roll and Parker House rolls lived up to high regional standards AND were perfectly (and in the case of the lobster roll, unusually) seasoned. Very flavorful Denver steak w/criolla was cooked exactly to medium rare as requested, and side of hominy and sweet potato was a perfect accompaniment. Usually wines poured by the glass are not worth it- the sauvignon blanc and cab we ordered were both excellent on their own and perfect pairings to our larger dishes. Flavors and textures for the key lime semi freddo and passionfruit cremeux were beautifully balanced, and again really creative. Also gluten free! Wonderful way to end the meal. Service and ambience were also excellent. Dinner wasn't inexpensive, BUT I would say the entire experience punched above the cost. Would definitely prioritize going back next time I'm in town.
