What an amazing meal! My partner had his “best pork chop ever.” I had spectacular scallops. The creme brûlée was subtle with a perfect top. You can pass on the key lime macarons. Definitely worth repeating.

Hannah, our server, was great. Attentive and very personable. Scallop appetizer and Caesar salad were very flavorful but meager in size for the price. One meal came under cooked and lukewarm warm but was rectified quickly. All meals were excellent and, unlike the scallop appetizer and salad, well portioned. Jackalope is one of our Bend favorites and we always enjoy dining at this restaurant.

The food and service were once again outstanding. Chef Josh has done a great job creating unique and tasty menu items with something for everyone. It was a little chilly for us to sit in the courtyard, but it looks very inviting. Give it a try!

Best prepared halibut I’ve ever had! The food was amazing. The service stellar and I can’t believe I-don’t go there more often! This will definitely be one of my favorite restaurants in the future.

A very nice meal and time was had by all. Food was outstanding in all respects. The difference between a 5 star experience and this particular meal was the service, which was good but not equal to the reputation of the restaurant. Having been a head waiter and som at a fine dining restaurant, I know the standard. Wait staff need to obsess about the customers, keep their eyes moving and anticipate needs. Example: We were asked mid meal about needing anything...with two empty water glasses sitting on our table. That happened twice. And response was unacceptably slow. My take is that young, bubbly servers need much more training, and insistence about being 100% present while they work at TJG. If service doesn't equal food quality and presentation, that "last star" is never happening.

Tasty food but very small portions. White sparkling wine was not chilled sufficiently. Not a great place if you hate asparagus as nearly all entrees came with asparagus and no substitutions provided. Good service, nice ambience, but mediocre value.
