The Ivy Victoria Brasserie
Always greeted well and to feel welcome .
Food was tasty .
Service was a bit slap dash and disorganised at times.
Very good brunch & attentive service despite being busy & newly opened branch - that said, it's an Ivy & you'd expect nothing less.
Went for Lunch on Saturday with friends. Arrived an hour early and got to enjoy the delightful bar upstairs. The Deep Red G&T is a must try with Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin. Seated for lunch no problem at all. Our waiter Louis was very helpful and charming. One of the managers Kristian? was also very attentive as was the bar manager upstairs. The Choc Bomb dessert was DELICIOUS!! (one for sharing!!) Overall would highly recommend.
Lovely place for lunch, great service, food and atmosphere
What a fantastic addition to Victoria, I still love the Ivy Market Grill but this is a great new addition to the ivy family. The decor having so many windows together with the stunning decor and bright furniture makes this a colourful inviting space. The menu is for me just perfect ( I wish though they would bring back steak with a fried egg on too- loved that!!) It was my waiters first day he was helpful and attentive. Great value for money - I will be a regular
Some of the food was served not warm enough.
They ran out of one or 2 dishes.
While pouring drinks - luckily it was water - the waiter did not apologise or mention anything.
I had duck curry which had more curry and very little duck.
Guys - this restaurant is weighing in on a name but if you don't pick up these points, the IVY name will only take you so far...
Had a lovely evening here. Was a little hesitant when I booked, given the venue had been open less than a week...but everything was fine, good service, delicious food, everything you’d expect from a restaurant night out. I’d definitely return to this venue.
What a disappointment. The food and service is good, the décor is fine but the noise is awful. The incessant loud beat of techno soundtrack is not conducive to an enjoyable dining experience. This music may suit a dancefloor but not for a "sophisticated and relaxing" restaurant (their words).
The space by the bar, which is the route from the kitchen and to the toilets, is tight resulting in people crowding the seated diners and in some cases cracking them on the head them with their handbags.
Our waiter got everything wrong, the gin, the water, olives never came, asked again, never came, food came, then 2 olives arrived etc, but he was lovely and dessert was complimentary. The food is great and hopefully just new teething problems!
Good experience with amazing interior design
Not the best service I expect from The Ivy’s. - wine waiter was not the most attentive
Beautiful restaurant, great food and friendly efficient staff. We ate from the set menu which was good value.
I felt that from start to finish, everything was very very rushed. We arrived at 4pm and ordered two courses with a drink. Our first course (main) was on the table 15mins later. As with all these upmarket restaurants, the dish I ordered was more plate than food. I chose to have English breakfast tea, and I just don’t know how you can warrant £3.95 for a pot of hot water, tea bag and dash of milk... not good. Our whole meal was over in 50 minutes.
As an avid Ivy fan, this venue had just opened. My sister who’s birthday it was and I decided to try it out.
Excellent service from our waiter Jonatan.
You need some muscles to open the front door but when you enter it’s fabulous.
Lovely place with lovely atmosphere. Perfect for get together with friends
Had a breakfast meeting there, Eggs Royale was very nice and decent size pot of tea. Service was excellent, would highly recommend
I was surprised and disappointed when entering the restaurant to be confronted by loud, disco-type music, so uncharacteristic of previous visits to Ivy restaurants. I asked the manager to turn the music down and he said he would do so, but the reduction, if at all, was imperceptibl I will not return to this restaurant
The welcome was amazing, food delicious. The first wine was unremarkable (third down on the red wine list)
the second bottle - a shiraz, was great.
The music was absolutely unbearable. We were a group of 4 x 50 year olds who LOVE our music. But the bass garage style music just thumped from 6pm til we left at 10.30 - and couldn't wait to get out!
Only opened yesterday so experienced a few teething issues with service - otherwise great. It is my favourite Ivy location so far
This beautiful venue was matched by excellent service. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. Also baby friendly
Service and ambiance was excellent. The food was very good but the poached eggs were hard boiled.
Beautiful aesthetic, fantastic service. Food was consistently good throughout all courses.
We came to first day public opening of Ivy. The restaurant and bar is beautifully set up in traditional Ivy style.
We were given. A two man table which was was well spaced out The menu was t traditional Ivy and was very pleased to see the prawn squid s
Cocktails and ambience were amazing. Food was delicious but can't say good value for money. Definitely will go again for the cocktails.
We really enjoy The Ivy Brasseries and have tried quite a few now.
Went to the Victoria one on opening night and it did not disappoint!
The staff were understandably a little nervous but fabulous all the same.
Food was the usual high standard.
The'background' music could have done with turning down a tad. Having a conversation at normal voice level was sometimes hard to hear but apart from that, a great evening.
It has a great atmosphere, but had teething problems when we went.
Service was excellent. It was a special day for me and you made it extra special for me.
Took my friend there for her Birthday, the ladies at the door wished her a happy Birthday, so I was very impressed! our waitress was lovely and attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was superb. the toilets were a hike though! I had to ask to use the disabled loo, my friend said I would not have managed the stairs! Even though the Ladies at the door wished Jan a Happy Birthday, she was not given anything to mark the occasion! So that is the only reason I never gave 5 stars. The restaurant looks amazing, i wish you well in your new location xx
Just what we wanted from this new Ivy. First day opening, so some errors but loved it and will be back.
Lovely new addition to The Ivy restaurants. We had a lovely birthday celebratory lunch on the opening day. The staff were all friendly, polite and attentive. Lovely decor too, will definitely return.
