The Private Room at The Ivy Chelsea Garden seats 30 on one long table, or 24 on three round tables of 8, and is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks and canapé receptions for 50 guests, 7 days a week.Decorated in a similar style to The Ivy Chelsea Garden, the walls of The Private Room are adorned with colourful vintage botanical prints and sumptuous floral artwork. The bespoke patterned white Carrara and Fior de Pesco grey marble tiled flooring, eclectic mix of vintage dining chairs upholstered with bold floral and palm printed fabric and hanging gilt leaf pendants add a touch of glamour to the room.With a selection of menus available, specially created by our Executive Chef, Sean Burbidge, The Private Room is equally as suited to private parties and wedding celebrations as it is for corporate breakfasts, lunches and dinners. There is a beautiful marble top private bar decorated with bevelled antique mirror panels and trimmed brass.

I have been going to the Ivy Chelsea for many years and have always had a very good experience. This time the service was very bad. One of my friend’s starters didn’t arrive. Instead he was given his main course 10-15 mins before ours arrived. Our main courses should have arrived together rather than us having to wait. The restaurant was unusually empty And there was a lot of staff around which should have made the service run smoothly. Not a good experience today and, although the food was good, the service was appalling! Sarah

The Ivy Chelsea garden was ok. Not as good as usual. A bit tired and waiters not great. Food not as good as usual. I feel this restaurant has deteriorated.

Awful service from start to finish, staff rude and disinterested. This was a special occasion so left very disappointed. The Ivy is unfortunately not what it used to be to be. The food however was very good.

The food was disgusting - really disappointed. Our waitress was very friendly but totally incapable. It was the first time for me at the ivy in many years and I can’t believe what it has become. We were 6 people, all with different food and everything was bad.
