The Private Room at The Ivy Chelsea Garden seats 30 on one long table, or 24 on three round tables of 8, and is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks and canapé receptions for 50 guests, 7 days a week.Decorated in a similar style to The Ivy Chelsea Garden, the walls of The Private Room are adorned with colourful vintage botanical prints and sumptuous floral artwork. The bespoke patterned white Carrara and Fior de Pesco grey marble tiled flooring, eclectic mix of vintage dining chairs upholstered with bold floral and palm printed fabric and hanging gilt leaf pendants add a touch of glamour to the room.With a selection of menus available, specially created by our Executive Chef, Sean Burbidge, The Private Room is equally as suited to private parties and wedding celebrations as it is for corporate breakfasts, lunches and dinners. There is a beautiful marble top private bar decorated with bevelled antique mirror panels and trimmed brass.

Lovely food. Booked table for 11am and my bad for not realising the full breakfast finished at 11am. Was able to order eggs, salmon and avocado even though that isn't specifically on the 11am onwards menu. It was lovely. Waiter was funny and helpful. Quite a few babies in but can't really grumble about that I suppose. Lively and noisy as opposed to quiet and serene. Beautiful decor and very instagrammable. Highly recommend.

I have been to the Ivy in Chelsea quite a few times. I like the ambiance and the good service and food. The one gripe I have is the hygiene and the cleanliness. I have reported to the reception staff that the seats where they are covered with cushions to sit one are very dirty with crumbs of all sorts around the seating area which is very unpleasant if you happen to put your hand on the sides of the cushions. Cleaners should lift the cushions and clean thoroughly underneath and around them. This is particularly bad in the pre-outdoor and outdoor spaces where these seats are prominent.

The management is living another parallel universe. They’re too strict, slow and unflexible. Come on, it is not a rocket science, it’s just a restaurant guys :)

We always enjoy The Ivy Chelsea Garden and this was no exception. Lovely warm welcome and friendly staff. Attentive but not intrusive. Our steaks were delicious. Highly recommended.
