This is my go to restaurant for entertaining The food is superb and the Vegetarian experience is fabulous. Their cocktails are great. My gripes are that 1. It’s suffering from service charge creep going from 10% to 12% to now 13.5% 2. The music choice at weekends with a DJ, the seems to be a lack of variety in tempo and the sound level to high at some tables for good conversation. All that said the experience of eating there is great theatre from the ornate interior (no one can say it’s understated) to the table and food presentation.

This restaurant looks fabulous and the food is very good. However the behaviour and attitude of the waiting staff need to be improved. We had an early booking 5:45 as we were had a previous event before this time. I understand that the restaurant wants the increase the covers for the evening and required the table back . Due to this the waiters were clearing the plates before they were empty and were pushing us to finish our meal. This did not only happen once but 3-4 times. Once I was still hand my chopsticks in my hand and was eating the last bit of food and the waiter started to take my plate away. At the end we were not made to feel welcome and that we could stay another 5 mins to go to the toilet and back. It is such a shame as this destroyed the positive experience we had with the food. I think your staff needs to be retrained on this aspect.

This is my fourth visit to this restaurant and each time we have been there has been something with our order that's been forgotten. Yesterday after having to re-ask for our drinks, they arrived whilst we were eating our main course. We also had to ask twice for the third starter which arrived after the other two had been eaten.
