The Hudson LA
Our menu features the season's freshest ingredients served in a classically cool environment. We offer a selection of ever-changing microbrews as well as your classic favorites. Fifty-foot trees dramatically lit from below sprout up through the main dining room and high-backed booths, dark wood, and rich burgundy fabric impart the feel of a pre-Prohibition Chicago banker bar.
Newly renovated, remodeled, and re-opened - The Hudson and Managing Partner Brandon Hawkins invite you to experience why this restaurant has been West Hollywood's favorite for over a decade.

Not as good as it used to be. The grilled cheese definitely has changed. It was one of the main reasons I went there and now that's gone.
Beyonce Brunch on Sunday was amazing! They played nothing but Beyonce. The food and vibe is always great at this place.
food was overcooked and very salty
sat at the hightop for dinner so it was like a bar
The food was great, Monica was great, the music was great, and the mimosas were STRONG...just how I like them. I have no complaints about my visit and I will be sure to return soon!
Aaron is the best server! Always ask for him!
Service was amazing. My friend and I didn't like the cocktails we originally ordered and they kindly replaced the drinks with different ones we knew we liked no problem at all. They were also super quick. None of us ended up liking the sunchokes we ordered but everything else we got was incredible.
So glad the Hudson brought back drink deals and more affordable entrees! It really felt like being back home. Our server Aaron was amazing and reminded me that the Hudson has such a feeling of community!
Love Hudson.. had a great brunch with a friend. Aaron our server, is exceptional! He provides such a great brunch experience! Great music! Loved my time here!!
This is a neighborhood gastropub and it was disappointing to see that with the highly visible new chef, the food quality and flavor went down. The ambiance and service is still excellent, but the starters and cocktails I had were surprisingly mediocre compared to what they had before. The brussels sprouts now are nowhere near the original ones, for example. The cauliflower starter tasted like it was slathered in coconut oil, and the fries should come with an aoili, not a creme fraiche.
Went their with my wife for our wedding anniversary. The remodel/redo was very well done - the food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. Highly recommend.
Great service, great food and drinks, great time! Celebrated Cinco De Mayo here for brunch and was one for the books!!! Jumani was great at the bar! Our waiter was super friendly and recommended lots of good selections. Ambiance was casual yet sophisticated!
So, where do I begin? Everything was incredible and exceeded all expectations. From the Brussels sprouts to the salmon, the food was spectacular. THOSE BRUSSELS SPROUTS THOUGH! And, to top it off, when I asked if they had any birthday dessert other than cake or ice cream, Monica brought out a bowl of fruit that she requested from the chef just for me with a candle lit! The staff was amazing, but Monica was simply brilliant in her service and was such a genuine sweet heart. Thank you for helping start my birthday celebration off with a bang!!
Loved it! Great ambiance, great service and a great selection of delicious appetizers
Overall brunch was great. My only suggestion is that if you get pancakes, make sure to order extra syrup.
Great for Wine Wednesday! All bottles 50% off!!
Just a little loud in my opinion! Don't feel like the music used to be so loud.
Our host and server, Aaron, was AMAZING! So funny, friendly, and accommodating. Unfortunately, the Hudson no longer serves bottomless rose and just serves bottomless mimosas now-- still a wonderful time!!
Great new menu and interiors after their remodel! The food and drink menu definitely stepped up!
Loved the atmosphere of The Hudson! Would definitely come back here for a good time!
Happy the spot has reopened, kind of bummed that the menu has changed. Food wasn’t as good as before, but we’ll still come back because we enjoy the atmosphere of it!
Great place for bites and drinks with friends.
The drinks and appetizers were great. However, my salmon salad was not very good. The salmon was cooked perfectly but the rest of the salad was wanting. It appeared to be mixed lettuce that could be found in any salad bag at a grocery store. This dish needs fresh veggies (tomatoes, broccolli, peas, anything besides lettuce really) with a more cohesive dressing. At $21, I expected flavors that would knock my socks off.
Hosts were very unwelcoming. One guy stared me up and down with his arms crossed. Service was slow. Only ordered 2 apps and they were underwhelming. Wines are a joke! (See photo) I asked to see the wine list and her reply was "there is no wine list, the wines are just house wines" - what does that even mean?? Haven't heard that since I was in a college bar, thankfully many years ago. Hard pass!
This place was closed for remodeling. It actually looks exactly the same, I was half way through dinner before I even remembered it was supposed to have been remodelled. I still like the place, they could have just saved their money and kept it as is
The service here was great and the drinks were delicious. My steak was perfectly cooked but the portion was small. Brussel sprouts were delicious with all the freshly grated cheese on top. My gf salmon came in a bowl with what seemed like a tomato based soup. It wasn’t the most appetizing looking dish. I would come back here for the service, drinks, and small bites.
I’ve been many times before and this had to be my least favorite experience. This was my first time attending since it’s reopened and I’ve noticed a couple changes. They don’t have bottomless mimosas anymore, which if you’re going to have a brunch I believe it’s essential to have. Also, the menu is very limited and different from previous with food prices way more expensive. You spend more especially if you plan to have a couple drinks with your meal. I believe they are trying to change their target customers, which hey if that’s what you want then amazing but I think it’s lost the business of my friends and I.
Dishes were very well conceived, but poorly executed - fries were delicious as was the lamb rib appetizer. But main courses were all let downs with the exception of the pasta. Chicken was over cooked, potatoes so salty they were almost inedible and salmon was beautifully cooked but so grossly under seasoned as to be completely bland.
The stellar service made up for a lot. Staff were knowledgeable, fast and friendly. Given this is a new menu with new personnel in the kitchen, I would give it another try and hope they get it together.
Very surprised by the menu changes. The brunch menu was limited and there were not any champagne specialty drinks or specials. The volume of the DJs music started very low and then went extremely loud an hour later. Just doesn’t feel like my favorite go-to eatery any longer. Sidebar - the bathroom renovations was a nice surprise.
I thought the Hudson was closed for months because they were doing upgrades, but when I arrived it looked exactly as it did before... complete with a slice through one of the leather booth seats that was clearly not replaced. The only difference is their new overpriced menu. It took over 15 minutes for our server to come to the table to even greet us. Not exaggerating. The hostess was very nice and accommodating and was the only great part of the place. I don't understand what they thought when reopening to the same exact look and feel, no updates or reasons whatsoever that would make their menu worth the pricing. The food was ok, the fries were really good but the dipping sauce tasted like nothing, like watery sour cream. Very underwhelmed and disappointed. What were they closed for?? They didn't do a single thing worth the reopening.
Have always liked The Hudson and I’m glad to see it re-open, but I’m not a fan of the new menu.
Loved every aspect of dining at the Hudson. Had Manhattans at the bar, then were led to a high-top table in a quiet alcove where no one except for our server entered - so nice. Our food - outstanding. Started with amazing long beans followed by crispy cauliflower bites with aoili (we asked for sriracha to kick them up) and the most heavenly Mac and cheese we've ever had. Flank steak was flavorful and cooked blue-rare as requested, and the roast chicken was moist, flavorful and delicious. The Pinot Noir we selected was a bargain at $38 and excellent. Loved the ambiance. Had a 70's casual vibe that made us feel right at home. Waitstaff was relaxed and delightful.
Made reservations and got there and they were closed for renovations. Don’t allow the option reservations if you’re not open.
Great weekend brunch option! The food was fantastic and the staff was fun. Cool vibe. We will be back!
The Hudson never fails to offer the best ambience and service. I come here all the time, whether it be for friend gatherings , happy hours, dates or going out on a Friday night. It’s always fun, and the service is always spectacular.
I went with my friends for my sisters birthday. It was our first time but we received raving reviews though a mutual friend. It was becauseful and the food was amazing .
Great food as always
The Hudson was a perfect location to start an exciting day of discovering West Hollywood. We went there for Sunday brunch and were thoroughly impressed with the menu options, the meals we ordered and the delicious mimosas! The only disappointing factor was that there was no information about their bottomless brunch no longer being offered. They had a decent replacement, but it would have been nice to know. Overall, would recommend and come back again!
They ran out of the food item we but but waitress was super nice about it and bought us another round of drinks. Pretty loud but cool place. A lot bigger inside than it looks
Food was delicious. Service was great and the drinks were awesome as well. Overall a wonderful evening spent dining.
I have frequented the area since 1985 but never visited this establishment since it opened in 2009. The decor is rustic with low ceilings, very little lighting except some natural skylight lighting until they put a small candle on each table. They have several 1990 style can lights but not nearly enough to provide enough light to read a menu. We arrived during Happy Hour before going to a play down the street. Happy Hour prices are far and actually good for the area. The service started out good until the place got crowded, then it dropped way below standard. There obviously were not enough servers. I had to wave my hand many times and eventually get another server to call my server. The staff was nice but they were understaffed for a Saturday Happy Hour. It is VERY loud in the place as the young LOUD ill manner guest arrived. A young man and a female sat next to us and the male was unreasonably loud and disruptive to our enjoyment. Another table of 10 was extremely loud and disruptive to our enjoyment. In fact, a family of four sat on the other side of us and even commented on how they obviously picked the loudest restaurant in the city; specifically pointing to those two tables. We looked at one another in agreement and disgust. It was as if these young 20 somethings had never been taught dining manners as they did not care about their boisterous demeanor or disruptive behavior to the other diners. Never again.
Hudson was great! The only thing is that I got a burger that had a spicy sauce, but it doesn't say it on the menu, and I'm very sensitive to spice. I think it should say it on the menu. When I tried to send it back and get a new one the server was very nice but said there are a lot of tickets before mine so it would take a long time. She ended up giving me free dessert which was very kind of her! Overall great experience, but just had the spice in the burger!
