If you like bland, flavorless food, then this is the place for you. I ordered the halibut and not only was it DRY AF, it had ZERO flavor, not to mention the piece was so small I could barely find it, since it was covered with something that looked like arugula- it was so small that when they brought it to the table I thought they had mistaken my order for a salad!!! At that point, I should’ve just got up and left, bc I knew it was going to be bad, and I was right. After I finely found the tiny sliver of halibut, I noticed there was no butter, garlic, or any kind of seasoning on it, so I took a bite of it, and not only was it dry, it had no flavor!! I then asked the server for some lemon and melted butter, she came back with some butter that was NOT melted and 2 lemon slices then gave me an explanation of why the fish might be dry!! I’m sorry, but if you have to explain why the fish is dry then you already know there’s a problem, plus she said that they didn’t have any melted butter. So you’re telling me that you serve primarily seafood, and you have no melted butter???!!!! Which means, you could care less, and you didn’t want to take the time to melt some butter in a pan- SMH!!! Then on top of everything else she had an attitude!!! My friend got the grilled chicken sandwich on sourdough which also had NO FLAVOR!!!! Plus the sourdough did not taste like sourdough- so it wasn’t just my food that sucked!!! My “dinner” that consisted of a tiny piece of halibut with mostly salad and some disgusting flattened fried potato dish that was covered in pears and some mystery white sauce that made it soggy was not worth $42!!!! They should change the name to Hook and BLAH - bc that’s exactly how the food taste!!!

Fish and chips are poor - heavy and lack flavor. The Beef Tartare as well lacked flavor depth.

This is our 3rd time and the service was extremely slow! It took 2 hours for 2 people to have a 1 salad, 1 entree and 1 dessert. Waited 45 minutes between salad and entree. We were told kitchen backed up, Halibut was ‘resting’ etc. Our server would disappear. In other restaurants they may comp you a dessert to make up for slow service. They didn’t.
