    Lovely pub at which we always drink at least once per London visit. This time, for the first time in years, we had supper. The waitress didn't know the difference between the advertised Sunday special roast and the beef Wellington. Tried to explain a proper English Sunday roast to her a couple times. Ultimately, rather than take her outside and show her the chalk sign I just had the Wellington. Remains a great place for a pint but likely not ordering food there again.

    Fun little pub with very good food! Our party had the goat cheese asparagus salad, beef Wellington, chicken Kiev and the lamp rump and all were excellent. Make a reservation as there are not many tables

    A London cabbie told us this is the best pub in London and he’s right - the Sunday Roast menu is scrumptious - we chose the Beef Wellington with all the trimmings, including a giant Yorkshire pudding! Generous helpings of perfectly cooked English grub makes for a genuinely heart-warming experience. If you’re in London, you do not want to miss this place set in a charming Mews - best to book as seating is limitex

    From start to finish, outstanding! from a 300 year old pub, will definitely go again. Put British cuisine back on the map.

    Awesome English Pub! Plenty of locals just having a beer after work but not too rowdy or loud. The fish & chips was very tasty and great value. The Ale pie was delicious and although the Beef Welly was good, the portion was a tad small for the price. We had awesome service from the staff who were all very polite and friendly! The whole family really enjoyed a very nice meal at the pub! Definitely book a table ahead of time as by the time we left all the tables were full.
