   We thoroughly enjoyed the Keepers House relaxed atmosphere and cosy interior in deep red with architectural carvings on the walls. A real haven from the hustle and bustle of the West End. The small edited menu showed good imagination and ingredients and the service was discrete and on the ball. A good experience that we will repeat again soon.

   Quiet dinner in top central London location. We had dinner for 2 with a nice bottle of Rioja and some cocktails after in the bar. Food very tasty and well presented, everything arrived on time, even we though we took breaks between courses. Friendly and polite service. Recommended if you want to dine close to Piccadilly, without the loudness and fussiness of large groups of tourists. Outstanding for business meetings

   Beautiful food and setting. We had dinner. Quieter than lunch. But all in all beautiful setting and food.

   We visited the bar and restaurant at The Keeper’s House on Tuesday 26th August in the early evening. The bar was full and buzzy, the cocktails were delicious, and the service was good. However, in the restaurant, which was not at all full, while the food was quite good, the portions were rather small and the prices seemed high for the overall quality of the meal. Furthermore, the service, while friendly, was rather vague and inexperienced and by the end of our meal staff were disappearing and the service was essentially non-existent. The general impression was that someone (a good maitre d’hotel perhaps) needed to get a hold of the whole operation and pull it together.

   Very good food , delicious and well presented. At first we were very disappointed to discover we were to be the only dinners on Saturday night so there was no "ambience" in the restaurant but our waiter was wonderful and overall it turned into an excellent evening.. Staff told us it was busier at lunchtime and during the week.

   We had a lovely anniversary meal, from the set menu, with interesting and varied choices all perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, considerate without being intrusive. Despite being at basement level the restaurant felt bright and airy. The small bar across the hall is an ideal spot for after dinner cocktails. I would definitely recommend The Keepers' House and cannot wait for our next visit.

   I booked for Valentine's day 3 days before, got a call to confirm and was asked if the tasting menu was fine. I hadn't seen it, but said that I was vegetarian but I do eat fish, so they assured me it wasn't going to be a problem. My "vegetarian tasting menu" was basically a VERY small starter salad, a small bean with poached egg soup, then they brought me the same soup again and when I said that I had already eaten it, at first they insisted I had it anyway "on the house" and when I refused, they served me a slightly bigger version of the previous salad, followed by another soup with no beans but lentils and poached egg, again. I barely touched it, nobody bothered to ask why the plate was still full and it was time for dessert. The end.

   The dining rooms here are quite lovely. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. The food sounded quite involved from the descriptions on the menu but turned out to be fairly simple but well executed. I started with 'cuttlefish with squid bacon' it turned out to be a sort of ragu of very tender and flavoursome cuttlefish, olives and beans. There may have been some squid in there but I'm not sure why it was called bacon. The dish was delicious anyway. I then tried the brill with sautéed kale. This was again simple but tasty. I ordered a side of samphire and seaweed salad which was delicious but dressed in an Asian style dressing which wouldn't have gone with anything on the menu.
