The Green Room is a hidden-gem bar and restaurant in an amazing location on the South Bank, close to the National Theatre, London Eye, and Waterloo station. Our large garden has room for 200 people, and our stunning timber-framed building - an indoor dining space - won the top award in the temporary category of the New London Architecture Awards in 2015.

Join us for an all-day menu that features timeless classics and pizzas handmade from scratch, and an extensive drinks list with signature cocktails and classic twists that show off the skill of our bartenders.

Pre-theatre drinks and food on a sunny outdoor table. Orders a selection of plates to share - all delicious. Great selection of Cocktails - found refreshing ones perfect for a very hot evening. Staff very friendly and helpful - but not enough of them on busy early evening - had to get up to find someone to order and pay bill as we were under time pressure for theatre. Would recommend & return.

There was no chicken available as a main meal, despite us eating at 6pm. That severely limited choice to rather standard options. It's also advertised as Mediterranean on OpenTable but it's not at all. The service was very good, if a little over eager.

Lovely setting and we were by the window. I enjoyed the food and found it tasty but as a vegan there was very limited choice. I would have liked more vegan options.

The service here was terrible, we had an outdoor reservation but were told to stand in line regardless and it took 20 minutes to be seated, at which point all the outdoor areas were taken. I appreciate it was a sunny day but the team were clearly understaffed - once seated inside we had to wait a further 10 minutes to order and we requested water, which we didn't received until we asked again. This restaurant is listed as dog friendly, but a waitstaff shoo-ed my dog away and jumped back as she moved forward. My dog was well behaved and others in the line confirmed the same. This might have been a bad night for them but I would not return and would not recommend this place.

Has gone downhill - Manager told one of the waiters off in front of us which was very bad form - and rude - we did point this out at the time. Young male waiter very good and helpful - manager rude. Generally - service was slow - coffee machine switched off at 9pm when multiple customers were asking for it - (switch it back on again!!!) - and a general reluctance to accommodate. Almost empty of customers by 9pm when a lot of other venues still very busy - so that tells you something. We have been coming here for a long time - but probably won't return..

Yugi & Mel are absolutely fantastic staff a treasure to this restaurant. Great service, food ambiance I can’t rate this place high enough will recommend to everyone 10/10

I received the confirmation about my reservatiom at 8;15 pm and when I arrived the Place was closed!
