We really enjoyed our meal at A Good Egg Stoke Newington! Everything we had to eat was absolutely delicious and the space was very cute. I’ve had to knock off one star for the service – the waiter was clearly new and hadn’t been trained very well, so it wasn’t his fault. He forgot requests we had made, and clearly did not know the difference between cornbread and challah bread, because he told us there was no cornbread, and then brought us a plate of cornbread and said it was challah! 😂 But he was very sweet, and he’ll learn. Other than that, it was great, and I would highly recommend anyone to go there.

Perfect dining experience in terms of food (so tasty), service, value for money. Only bad thing was a dog being allowed in the restaurant on Thursday night, it did ruin the vibe for us

The general vibe of the venue was so wonderful, we were some of the first guests to arrive at 7pm on a Saturday and by the time we left around 8:30 the place was full. Service was wonderful, the waitresses were both extremely friendly and attentive, the meal comes out bit by bit was paced excellently as we were sharing everything. Food was out of this world delicious, I can’t recommend the chicken and the cabbage dishes enough. I just know that I’m going to be a regular, and bringing any friends that come to the city to meet me!

As always we had a great experience at the good egg! It’s a treat to have them back in the restaurant business again. Food was brilliant with just enough choice. The corn bread is the best I’ve ever tasted. In these times the value for money is competitive.
