Came for Birthday / Fathers day dinner with my Partner and Son and we were not disappointed. Despite arriving an hour early for our booking John went out of his way to accommodate us. Started with the Burata entree which was fantastic then onto the Roast pork and the Black Sticks burger, both of which were outstanding. Finished with the Chocolate Orange Eaton Mess and the Baby Guinness Fudge sundae A++ All the staff were friendly and attentive ensuring a great evening out Thank you for making it a great day

The pub was not too busy but there was only one staff member dealing with food and drink orders, which she handled very calmly. Our food appeared without delay and was well cooked, well presented and very tasty. No complaints.

I like this pub, the food, drinks and atmosphere has always been good when I've been there. We did wait quite a while for our lunch, fortunately we had ordered a cocktail so chatted while we waited, and weren't disappointed when the food did arrive.

Yet another wonderful evening at The Gardeners! Great hospitality, great food amazing atmosphere and ALL of the staff are so welcoming, it’s great to see people happy to be at work. If you’re looking for a local pub, The Gardeners truly is a great local!

We had a lovely evening and the service was great and the food is good quality and value, so well cooked and presented. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I really couldn't fault it. John is a great host and assured us even if we went alone we would be welcomed. As far as I'm concerned it's the best pub in the area.

Had Sunday lunch ( rib beef) ordered extra roasties and cauliflower cheese all cooked to perfection, portion size is great, didn’t order a starter as I’ve been before and the roast itself is definitely a belly buster

Once again we had a great evening! We enjoyed a couple of drinks, a delicious meal and finished the evening with a well made cocktail! Guaranteed warm hospitality, value for money and delicious food!
