The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea.

The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!

Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to.

Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

Very nice place and very kind staff. We really enjoy the baby ribs pie, the fish & chips and the seasonal salad.

Can’t fault the Sunday roast or the service here. I was sat in the sunny conservatory which was perfect and lunch came quickly. I have tried to get a table here for a long time and this time booked well ahead which was lucky as was full as soon as opened .

I would give this place 10 stars if possible. We are Americans and we’re looking for a British pub. Well, this was beautiful, and the food was amazing, and it looked like it was right out of a movie. Service was the sweetest, my daughter LOVED it (which while traveling is sometimes hard for a 10yo). Could not say enough positive things about this place. THE BEST.

It’s a beautiful little English pub tucked away off the main road. We had a fabulous dinner at The Fox & Fez!! Food was amazing and staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend!

Great food and service. Sunday roast beef was delicious, and the other roasts looked even better! Good portions and mix of veg and potatoes. Service was prompt and friendly. We were even offered sunhats as we were sat in a sunny spot the conservatory - touch of class there.
