I visit this pub every time I am in London. The atmosphere is nice and the food is great. The menu choices are not deep but different enough to meet all our tastes. The preparation and presentation is delightful.

The upper floor dining room is very pleasant and afforded us a much quieter experience than the downstairs bar which can become very busy. Good ambience, choices of did and wine and overall good value for money.

The fish and chips & the chicken kiev were amazing (and my son has been on a fish& chips tour of London, these were his fave). The steak was delish and the venison pie was so pretty. Our server, Linda, was lovely and helpful. The ambience and the history of the pub were the icing on the cake of a great meal.

Excellent food, Excellent wine choice and Excellent service as always. Noisier than usual in the upstairs dining room which wasn't ideal, as difficult to hear each other (due to a large group of loud men dining) Overall Excellent. Steak was perfect!

Food arrived stone Cold. Tasteless. Dry. Missing items off plate. Loud cramped seating. Short staffed thus slow service. Lots of items off menu out of stock. Atrocious especially for Mayfair. Will not return.

The location is great and the pub is very nicely decorated. However, the service was very slow (we had to wait for our drinks for quite some time, same for other tables). The portions are on the small side (if you don’t go for a steak or fish and chips, then you get a relatively small plate). The dessert was too sweet.

I'm a big fan of the hidden gem that is the first floor dining room here. It is a pleasant oasis in Mayfair with great food and great service. We had the Ribeye for lunch today. They were outstanding! I will continue to be a regular patron here.
