Great service and food!
Our server, Lisa, was superb. Made our visit. Best crab cake I've ever had. First prime rib I was served was tough, but they immediately brought me another and it was spot on. Overall I would definitely recommend Final Cut for a pleasant steak house experience.
It was cold and rainy outside in STL on 10/15/2021. As we walked into the restaurant you can feel how cold it was inside. We ask if they could turn down the air and I heard the manger say No. I order a Caesar salad and the dressing was like someone mix it with water. Ribeye was cook nicely. My husband ordered a NY Strip, it was dry. We have eaten there before and our meal was delicious, this time it didn’t meet our standards.
Ordered the most expensive steak and it was just bland. Barely any flavor. Restaurant was so cold my wife left early to go back to our hotel room.
Their refrigerator must have been broken so they just cooled the whole place to 30 degrees. Overall disappointed.
The manager Jason made sure our particular requests were fulfilled. It was a 25th Anniversary dinner. Jane, the server, was excellent and the entire dinner and evening were perfect. Thank you so much.
Our waitress was outstanding. We still tipped her 20% because she was great. But the food was very bad. My spouse and I both left hungry. My prime rib was tuff as shoe leather. Then I noticed that the two people behind us ordered the same thing. Then i heard our waitress say to them. Yes i've heard that the meat was very tuff. They said they would take it home to the dog. I didn't want to take it home. Wasn't worth putting it in the fridge since we were staying the night in the hotel. Also on my Open Table i had said both my husband was having a date night for both of our birthday. No mention of it came up when she asked would we like some desserts. I just said no thank you. I wanted it to be a surprise for my husband. I still left $20.00 and we left plus paid for the full meal of $107.00 Way to much money for Water, 1 salad 2 pieces of cold shrimp 2 pieces of bread and 2 sweet potatoes. Now i can see why this restaurant is only open 2 days a week.
Great food. Great service. Had an amazing steak. Best restaurant at casino.
The place was Freezing cold
Very nice ambiance. However, the room temperature was so cold that a diner seated next to us had wrapped a table cloth around herself for warmth. One of our party ordered soup and it arrived too cold to eat. He sent it back and it came back fine. Our entrees ranged from the prime rib special, to the filet and the New York Strip. The consensus was that the food was ok, which was less than we expected.
Excellent dinner food. Food is served quickly so in and out is less than an hour. Everyone who works there is friendly and caring about your dining experience. I have eaten there more times than I can count! I've never eaten there when the food wasn't extremely good. Prices are reasonable.
It was super disappointing. The menu was extremely limited and not what is shown on this website. The crab cake was all binder and looked like it had sat forever before they brought it to us. The steaks though cooked appropriately had no seasoning. It was really a disappointment.
My ribeye was a little overcooked. Baked potato was excellent.
Very enjoyable meal! We munched on tasty, warm bread and sipped Blanton's while waiting for the appetizers. Crabcakes were meaty and delicious! My 16oz ribeye was perfect, charred medium rare as requested. The 14oz Strip was also perfect, served with a perfectly salted baked potato. Creamed spinach, served with chunks of Nueske bacon, was awesome. Bigger servings of sides, like the more popular steakhouses serve, would be nice. There's a good selection of bourbon to enjoy. With the great service of Jane and the other staff, I'm surprised this place is not packed on a Saturday night. I hadn't dined here in a couple years and would compare the quality to Ruth's Chris or Morton's. This is a value for sure.
The prime rib special was very good. Shrimp cocktail had 2 shrimp but they were large, salad unique dressing and prime rib was served as requested.
Service slow as it is almost everywhere.
You don’t get much for the price
Great evening! Surf and turf was wonderful. The general manager Jason was busy waiting on tables and making sure that everyone was being taken care of due to the short staffing created by the COVID pandemic. Everyone did an excellent job of keeping the diners happy. I would highly recommend having dinner here
Great dinner! First class service from Manager Jason. Our steak was cooked perfectly and the sauces with the shrimp cocktail were excellent. Great wine selection too! Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon.
steak and salmon were delicious. Green beans and fingerling potatoes seems a tad undercooked. Service was 10. the bread was 10+. Will visit again.
very disappointed the 42$ new york strip was half inedible. not impressed this time dining there. menu was cut almost in half of what you could order. usually our go to place when in town, will go somewhere else next time.
The service, food and atmosphere was wonderful!!! I would highly recommend!!!
By far one of my most favorite steakhouses to visit in the St Louis area. The filet is to die for in the service is fantastic.
Lisa our server was kind and helpful. Cold salads cold, hot food hot. Coffee refills, cleared dishes. Steak was good, cooked well (as in correct ;)) Veggie sides nice. Manager swung by to check on us, very nice. We'll be back.
We recently had a great meal at Final Cut Steakhouse. My husband had the strip steak and I had the salmon. Our host, Jason, was very engaged in our experience. Our waitress, Lisa, is the best. She has been our waitress at 99 Hops, also and is always very attentive to our needs.
Waited over an hour for our dinner. When dinner did arrive my steak was cold. I never saw the waitress to let her know. Service was slow and scarce. We won’t be returning.
The server was friendly, courteous and the food was delicious!
Excellent food! Short handed on staff and still managed to provide us with excellent, efficient service.
Welcome back Final Cut. We have missed you. The chicken and the pea risotto was out of this world. My wife had the steak and what a great pairing. With reduced staff, they still made you feel like you were the most important person in the restaurant. Very proud of the team. The food was just as amazing as it was before Covid. If you want a great meal, don't forget about Final Cut. Again, welcome back.
Our service person was trying her best, but she seemed to be overworked and some details were not completed as would have been liked. As time goes by and staff is added, I hope to see that issue get improved.
Great food and great service. Generous portions.
Had a wonderful meal and everyone was very helpful. We would recommend the Final Cut. Everything we ordered was perfect. Thanks so very much for great service.
The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive and flexible. They attended to all of our needs.
I am so glad that Final cut is back open. Food was great. The manager has always been exceptional. The waitress was also exceptional. Great food and service. Will be back.
Friendly staff, very knowledgeable. Food was prepared perfect.
Everything was amazing! Service, drinks and dinner! Everyone was so nice we will definitely be back!
After having dined here over a dozen times, I was surprised and disappointed that this last experience was so bad. They have limited staff so service was slow but having the foid cime out uncooked (prime rib $42) initially as well as after sending it back. It was raw, tasteless and a horrible piece if meat. I'll pribabky wait a few minths before returning with the hope that they find or train proper kitchen staff.
everybody working in there was helpful and friendly.
The food was very good
Stay home and cook it yourself. The bread came out still frozen in the middle, I had the French onion soup to start, and it just tasted like salt. Food over all was just okay. Nothing special.
Nick, I am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your evening with us. I am truly sorry to hear this. I apologize for the bread service issues and French onion soup disappointment. I wish you would have let us know that evening so that we could have made amends. I am sorry and hope you can give us another opportunity.
Quite Dinner for two, it’s was amazing. Noise was at a minimum, dimly lite dining room. Perfect for a romantic date or a first date.
Thank you so much for the kind words - and we are pleased to hear how our food, service, & ambiance added to your night out. We hope to see you return soon. Thank you.
Restaurant just reopened. Bread is phenomenal. Great atmosphere. Overall, good was very good. Salmon was a little bit salty but delicious. Prime rib was outstanding.
Thank you for your feedback - we appreciate it and can only improve and do better with straightforward critiques. Thank you. I am sorry to hear the salmon was too salty for your tastes - We will take the feedback and adjust. Thank you. Glad to hear you enjoyed the meal and experience for the most part though. Thank you!
