It was a very delightful evening and we enjoyed dinner and the service! Will come back again.
We enjoy having dinner here the staff are wonderful. I don’t know if it was a off day because our food was not as good as in the past. The salad was not as fresh and my husbands green beans were also dried out and old. The steaks were on the tuff side of a 10oz filet. We hope the next time it’s awesome again.
We arrived for our reservation on time and had requested a booth, but there was none available. They tried to put us in a corner near the servers computer to input food orders. We had requested a booth with our 7:15 reservations and we arrived promptly on time. The host said we do not have a booth available. The steakhouse was not a bit crowded and offered to move us to the other dining area, which we had not problem. The host gave us water and that was it. 20 minutes later we had no communications whatsoever and we told the host, who was serving water to the only other table, that we were leaving. The host said okay. Now is that the response you want to get. We told the host of our displeasure with his response. As I walked towards the door. The other couple waiting to be waited on overheard of our experience and left. The Host now comes to the doorway and apologize by saying we are rather busy. Please only one (1) table of four (4) in the dining area and that was it. The other side of the area which I had requested with the booth had only 4 or 5 booths filled and 1 table. Each of those dining tables had only 2 people per table. I will never recommend The Final Cut Steakhouse -- St Louis to a soul!!
The foods was great oh the service was excellent!
Have eaten here several times but unfortunately their prime rib just does not hold up to standards. Filets are good as are the lobster tails but way over priced. Service is beyond outstanding by both the manager and the waitress. The best part of the meal was the glazed bacon - appetizer was well worth the price
It was our first time there. Food was great. The service was a little slow. The waitress was very nice.
Hostess, atmosphere, and wait staff where excellent. The scallop appetizer was amazing and I was hoping the rest of the meal would be the same. Lobster bisque tasted burnt and although I am a fan of spice, the steak and mashed potatoes where way over peppered. I don't really feel the meal was worth the price. We would probably not go back.
We had the fixed menu on Valentine’s Day. Pork was AMAZING, Lobster Bisque was mediocre and our steaks and veggies were great. The restaurant gave each person a single long stem rose to take home 🖤 very nice touch. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating!
Went for Valentine’s Day where they had a prefix menu. My first course came out and my husband didn’t get his for 15 minutes after... 2nd course was okay - main course we ordered filet, mine came out ice cold - it was taken back and brought out maybe 10 min later but didn’t have the crab or the sauce on it this time. I didn’t want to be a bother and ask where all my steak toppings went so just proceeded with my meal... dessert was by far the best part. For the price I just don’t feel like it was a great deal. Especially with all the mishaps.
The valentines menu was to say the least average and definitely not worth the money we spent
Went for my 40th bday dinner while traveling through St Louis. Everything was perfect. Waitress was exceptional. Definitely recommend!!
we wanted a nice quit place to have a wonderfull meal. My wifes birthday is Valintines day and everywhere is always busy that day so we decided to do it a day early. She said her steak melted in here mouth and my prime rib was on of the best one i have ever had. I want to thank your people for their wonderful service. We will eat there next time we want a 5 star dinner .
I love the feel of this place. I will definitely return .. Everyone was pleased with their meal and the service. I had a filet and shrimp - both were excellent. Service was friendly, drinks were refilled on a timely basis.I always enjoy the Final Cut-have never had anything I didn't like.
Our second time there and it was an awesome experience.
We were greeted and seated by Jason, the manager...very friendly and professional. The wait staff was also excellent. We had a mushroom appetizer that was wonderful, and the filets and prime rib were also excellent. We will definitely return. John Dietrich
We loved the private area! Waitress and the manager Jason was great.
Wonderful! Wound up here on a date night after all Our other choices were full. Everything was excellent! Salad, bread main course all great! We have four kids and truly treasure Our “quiet time” together. A big group for a Birthday party showed up and kept the noise level down. Did not even notice They were there! The Manager and Chef came out to check on Us. Try it out! You won’t be disappointed.
I held a business dinner at First Cut Steakhouse and was very happy with the food, ambiance and the service. My customer really enjoyed the food and it was a lovely night.
The wife and I had dinner here on Friday evening, Jan. 3rd, for her birthday. Manager greeted us with a smile upon entry and we were seated promptly. Same for the Busboy with the initial glass of water and the bread-basket with multiple options that were inside of it. Our waiter Thomas, was super nice and helpful when we asked about the menu and it's options. Small Filet Mignon for me and the Ribeye for her. Both were cooked to perfection, as were our sides of Asparagus and a Baked Potato. It's the cost that you would expect for a white table cloth, fine dining experience. We both then had a drink, later in the evening at the bar, which was calm & quiet for a Friday evening but was still very nice. I'd definitely go back......
Yes but not on Major Holiday! Over 3 hours in Restaurant and food not as High Quality as it is normally!
Reservations were for 8:45, not seated until 9:15. Caeser salad was not fresh. Strip steak ordered was Prime Rib. Both steaks did not appear to be freshly cooked. Potatoes were cold. Asparagus and dessert were good.
Expensive and the food was not worth the money. Would not go back.
My wife and I was there celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We both ordered the 6 oz steak with salads. They brought our steaks, mine was ordered well done and it was cooked perfect. My wife’s was ordered medium well. Hers came out bloody and the waiter even said it wasn’t cooked as ordered. He took her steak back to cook more. I went and ate my so it wouldn’t get cold. About 10 minutes later she received her steak back and it was hard on both sides. She ate about half and didn’t like it so I gave her about third of mine. We didn’t complain but was not very happy, especially on such a big occasion. We thought it should have come out better the first time. Terry Sellers
After sitting and waiting one hour and 10 minutes, we finally received our food. Unfortunately, I had to send my steak back because it wasn't hot it was merely warm. Sometimes the food is worth the wait, in this instance it was not! Paying $200.00 for a meal you expect more, much more.
Chritmas dinner...630 pm reservation...many empty tables . Soup was cold. Ceasar salad was wilted and very strange dressing on it. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our main entre...no explanation...when we asked the manager why it was taking so long he said to be patient they were getting food out as fast as they were able too. We commented that the restaurant was very empty. He made no comment. Prime rib was very fatty and not even close to hot. $200.00 for lousy food and a manager and server who made no attempt to making this a decent dining experience for 4 people
Waited 2 hours for our food. Witnessed two different parties leave the restaurant due to long wait. Thank God for our waiter Thomas, or we would have left too. He did a fantastic job. Manager on site and kitchen staff were not prepared for reservations made. What a disappointment.
Food was very good, service excruciatingly slow. In fairness it was Christmas Day. That said , when you pay these prices you should expect better service.
Great tasting food, though two of six dishes were slightly overcooked. The salad was excellent and the waiter was wonderful. They were very busy so we had to wait over an hour for our food even though we had made a reservation. We were compensated, however, with a generous discount, and that made it better. All in all, it was a great place with good food, wonderful service and a lovely ambiance. We will definitely go back.
The service was mediocre, they were unwilling to prepare a vegetarian dish for me, and my girlfriend's filet mignon was cold when it arrived. They did bring my girlfriend a free desert for her birthday, which was nice, but it was a stale cupcake.
The wait for food was far too long.
Waters were refilled only once.
Not much attention to our table
I had the filet mignon, and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had!
Graduation celebration. Waiter Tom was stellar
Excellent impromptu date night. The atmosphere was great, the waitress gave just enough attention and the food was terrific.
A bit over priced but service was excellent. Got a bit tired of the filet so ordered the rib eye which was a bit too fatty - marbely
My wife and I have dined at Final Cut quite a few times in the last month or so and have enjoyed the meals and the service. We always look forward to going to dinner at Final Cut. Dan Landsbaum
Servers friendly but kitchen was slow
Our server, Steven, was the BEST. Attentive and genuinely friendly service. The bread basket was delicious-I could have filled up just eating the breads. Great variety and all fresh. The french onion soup was also very good. I ordered the prime rib and was disappointed. It didn't appear to be fresh cut (off a roast) and the outside was actually dry and grayish. It was also overcooked and tough. The Brussels sprouts were basically raw with some odd sugary syrup poured over them. They were supposed to be roasted. My companion had the filet and that was delicious and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Her garlic mashed potatoes were also really good. We had carrot cake for dessert and it was moist and tender and delicous.
All AOK, no issues. Staff was good and polite. We will consider again.
We were at Final Cut midweek and the restaurant was not crowded at all. The service was prompt and attentive, but not overbearing. The cocktails were good pours, and we each enjoyed our pinor noir flights. We each had the small filet, and they were excellent. We will definitely eat here again.
