Service was excellent! Location is great, ambiance was so cute.
Love the complimentary valet and lunch was just right - fresh and delicious chicken salad.
Kitchen closes very early during the week.
Served oysters with one closed attached to another. Then took it back after we were finished to cook it again. Very odd. Poor service by waitstaff
Love the farmhouse! Not too loud, wonderful high ceilings, lovely food and great service.
The food was fine, but the wait staff were slow. Our waiter was very nice, but never checked in on us. Didn’t follow up if we wanted to order more cocktails. We ordered some potatoes to share for the table that we were still all enjoying, when it was cleared away without asking because some of the dinner plates had been removed. Worst beyond worst was that the bathroom was in a most terrible state. Not ok for those menu prices in my opinion. Will not be returning. And was celebrating my husbands birthday which I shared with them and they said they would take care of a candle. Of course they didn’t. Disappointing all around.
This was my second visit to Farmhouse and it was as amazing as I remembered. The space is warm and welcoming, and staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our group of 4 devoured the shaved Brussels sprouts salad so fast, we ordered (and devoured again!) a second serving. The quality of farm to table is among the best I've tasted in LA.
Brunch food tasted great, but the selection was limited.
Great vibe but food was only subpar. To start we had the burrata, Brussel sprouts, artichoke, and butternut squash soup. Only thing I would get again is the burrata & maybe the soup with the side of bread. We ordered the bread but it took so long to get the bread we had already eaten the soup, luckily they gave us the breast complimentary. For our entrees we got the steak, burger, & gnocchi. Gnocchi was not good. But burger was so yummy. Steaks good too.
We went on Valentine's, when the menu was prix fixe. Very nice. The food was excellent and we loved the ambience. We're eager to return and dine from the regular menu.
It was a perfect Valentine’s Day. Great food great location. We couldn’t have asked for a better night. We will definitely be coming back for another date night to try more food.
If I give 10 stars I would. The food was incredible, the flavor and freshness was perfect. The service and atmosphere where amazing. And the owner walked around to talk with everyone in the restaurant. Honestly, could not have had a better experience. Thank you!
on Saturday evening four of us had dinner for the 1st time at Farmhouse. I found the food be tasty as did everyone at our table although nothing memorable. Given that we live in Venice there is nothing to draw me back to this restaurant. The food is natural and well-prepared. If you live closer you might give it a try.
Farmhouse is a beautiful restaurant, but I wasn't wowed by my meal. (Maybe I didn't order correctly) However, the setting and the service were wonderful and it was nice to be able to hear my dinner companion over the table.
The design of the restaurant is the best thing about it. The servers and staff are grumpy. The food was not flavorful and the portions are tiny. The beet and burrata contained very few beets. It was expensive for the tiny portion size and i left hungry.
My husband and I went to brunch with another couple and it was lovely. Their brunch food is my absolutely delicious and the best food at the farmhouse in my opinion. I’ve been there in the evening and weekdays too but brunch is amazing. I always have the eggs Benedict with salmon which they don’t have during the week so I really savor it. I had a pot of tea and it was perfect. Ordered biscuits too. Service was impeccable. Can’t wait to go again!
The food is amazing! Everything we ordered —oysters, butternut squash soup, octopus, bone marrow pasta, lamb chops, burnt cheesecake, right down to the drinks. Delicious, tasty, and deserves a Michelin star.
Pleasant staff. Great creative healthy food
Excellent food and great ambiance
Another outstanding experience at Farmhouse LA...
Lunched with a friend - her first time at Farmhouse, she is now a fan!
We went for Dine LA lunch. We ordered shaved brussel sprouts, green salad and beet salad for starter; 2 Cod sandwiches and a steak sandwich ended with cheese cake for dessert. They are all yummy with left over to take home. Great quality, good service and ambience. Will definitely be back.
Went for the DineLA lunch. Noisy (could use sound absorbers on the ceiling), hard to hail a server for water, we finally had to get the water ourselves, 2 toilets in the ladies restroom didn’t flush (we told workers there). Mgr was kind enough to have one of us order from the menu bc of allergies and took our orders while the rest of us ordered from DineLA, but unfortunately, we didn’t have a regular server, which may be the lack of service. Food was fresh though! Free valet parking for 4 hrs if attend restaurant.
Always love Farmhouse. Went for brunch. Excellent Brussels sprout salad and mushroom omelette. My only issue (but not worth singing their ratings) was that I asked if smoked salmon was cured in house. Server said absolutely. When I received it, it tasted like commercially available packaged lox.
First time for Dinner! Very Impressed with the Ambience! We were Greeted by Friendly Hostess! Our server (Landon) was Wonderful!
Hubby had a Yummy Butternut squash soup & I really enjoyed grilled Octopus! For Dinner Hubby had Cheeseburger & I had Hanger steakn& Broccolini! GOOD!
Finished with a Very Good Cheesecake!! Mmm! Excellent Meal
We had a reservation for a party of 7 for my dad's birthday following a visit to the MODSLA. We called them on the day of to change the time of our rez not once, but twice, and they were super courteous and accommodating. The staff were all amazing and the food was delicious. I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend Farmhouse to all!
Is it pretty? Yes very pretty but I can’t eat pretty— and I’m actually a vegetarian. So that says a lot if I score 1 star in a “vegetable-forward” restaurant. That mean, trust me take your money elsewhere. Server was cool but we paid for $180 worth of 2 bread baskets, wilted caesar salad, so-so eggs, and small plate of beef. For instagram purposed, go ahead enjoy. Ask for salt on the side though. You’ll need it!
Great spur of the moment lunch...had the steak and wedge salad and did not disappoint...
We went with friends. They ordered the beer batter cod, roasted fingerlings, and the pasta with wild mushrooms. Kim and I split the prix fixe, the brussel sprouts salad and the chicken sandwich on brioche-- both excellent. Kind and attentive service. Parking at the valet stand is terrific, free for 4 hours, very convenient.
Did not receive points:-(
Great service, lovely ambiance, excellent food. Just a little loud at lunchtime with restaurant goers plus music. Overall though an excellent experience and we will be back!
Service was great drinks were amazing food was mediocre and it was way too pricey
The service was incredible from the bartender to our server to the owner - it felt very familial as if we were dining in their home. Great food and cocktails! We look forward to our next dine at Farmhouse.
This place must not typically get many customers because they were completely overwhelmed by the crowd they got this Saturday night (and the dining room was still not full). Our evening started with long waits at the valet line, longer waits to get a server's attention at the table, various staff coming out after orders and replacement orders were taken to tell us the kitchen had ran out of items we ordered, and forgotten items when food finally did materialize. At one point we had two of the same mushroom pasta entrees on the table, the second of which was clearly rushed and made incorrectly as it was watery and missing the butter that made the first version tasty. Another pasta dish was undercooked to the point of being inedible.
The table across from us got up to leave after hearing half the menu was unavailable, and we would have been smart to do the same but were enjoying the ambiance of the room and hoping the meal would improve.
The check contained errors at the end of the night, charging us for items that had never made it to the table. The manager should have appeared at that point, but he was busy apologizing to other tables. We couldn't find our server and needed to leave for a show at Largo, so paid at the bar, which was empty.
Farmer Nate must have been out in the fields last night because he certainly wasn't running his restaurant. We will not return, but hope the space is taken over by more capable hands as it's a nice room.
The food was fanrastic. Flavors spot on. Presentation beautiful. Our server was knowledgeable and truly delightful.
We ordered grilled Caesar salads with beef; in light of the Romaine recall, the menu stated that we would receive grilled Little Gem. That was fine. The salads arrived. The salad was not grilled. The lettuce was a kale, not the Little Gem. We sent them back. The server told us that the kitchen had to substitute because of the Romaine recall (as if the menu had not already changed this). As a replacement we were served iceberg with the same beef (an item on the menu) and were charged the more expensive price of the grilled Caesar with beef.
After having chosen this restaurant based on the menu posted on its web site and elsewhere, once we were seated, we learned that the menu is subject to frequent changes that are not reflected on the web sites. A number of the items that had sparked our interest were not available. Which was extremely disappointing. It's also very expensive. Beware.
The food was amazing. Good service , nice atmosphere, highly recommended.
Great server Bethany!
Disappointing brunch. The avocado toast was bland and the taste was off (how do you wreck avocado toast?) and the egg on top was cold. Just not a very good meal.
Great place.
