Food was good although I thought it was very pricey. Our service was impeccable. Atmosphere is nice nothing special .
The crab cake Appetizer was very good, served a bit cold though.
Two items not available off the entree menu unfortunately Made us compromise on our choices, for a Saturday night, that was disappointing.
The food was very good and enjoyed by all three in our party.
Food was okay but totally overpriced. It’s also very loud out there so it wasn’t possible to talk, had to yell
Food was very good. Waitress was GREAT! Seemed very slow to get food, and we had a couple of managers come by to give us "late" updates. otherwise we felt it was a very nice experience for our family reunion.
More of an upscale restaurant. Very stylish ambiance. Not the biggest menu by everything was delicious and the service was amazing.
Nice evening with very few people in the restaurant; they must have been out to Halloween parties! Perfect for a quiet dinner since it can be noisy in this space.
We were dining with a groups of friends from church (Dinner with Friends). The Emporium made a special menu and made all of our guests feel special.
Muscles no longer on menu. No one in restaurant and service was mediocre. Super salty and presentation poor.
Decor is beautiful
Dinner was good
Service was great
Dessert was amazing
We will be back
Now that we are in Fall and headed towards Winter, I expected a little more comfort food on the menu.
Great food & dining experience. We will be back for drinks & dinner.
Service was a bit slow but the waitress was very sweet and I know it got quite busy as we were finishing up with dessert! Not a problem as we had nowhere to be. Best-cooked filet I've ever eaten. Usually I have to spit up fatty hard-to-chew bits and the entire steak melted in my mouth. Amazing. The waitress' dessert suggestion was spot-on, too.
Went on Saturday to get their Wellington special for my husband’s birthday. It’s pricey but I actually quite reasonable for a Wellington from what I’ve heard. It was totally worth it, perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth tenderloin. We had the crab cake for an app, which was delicious with tons of crab meat, not packed with a bunch of filler stuff like a lot of crab cakes. Husband’s cocktail was excellent, and the dessert, which I find are often overpriced crap at restaurants and not worth it, was absolutely delicious. It was the Apple Cider Mille-Fueille. Honestly, first time in a long time that I felt like the money we spent on dinner out was well-worth it. Especially in Fort Collins where I feel like a lot of the “fancier” restaurants are overrated and overpriced for what you get. My husband was extremely happy with his birthday experience, as was I.
This place was terrible. The food is overpriced, the service is SLOW, and our server was TERRIBLE. My husband ate dinner before coming out with friends for my birthday, and told our waitress he just wanted drinks, not food. The waitress the went and told management that he said he wanted to get “messed up” to put it lightly which was an absolute lie. The management cut him off after two drinks. Luckily, we were able to get the truth out to the management and they bought him a drink to make up for it, but that server should be fired for causing such drama. We will NEVER go back.
Food was good, server was MIA for some time. Two plates of food were dropped onto floor when we were being served. They had to be remade.
Great food, fun atmosphere, looking forward to going back!
We went for our anniversary dinner. I didn't tell them this in advance, but they knew from my OpenTable profile. We were treated like royalty. I really appreciate the excellent service - we will be back!
Service was friendly, but we asked the waitress to please space out apps, salads and entrees. She was eager to take the order, but promised she’s hold off on entering entrees for 20 minutes. Lesson learned, if the server takes your order, it’s going immediately to the kitchen. We were rushed at every course as things were flying out of the kitchen.
The food was mediocre at best. We ordered a variety of dishes and weren’t impressed by any of them. The bison bourguignon was not as described. It was a 2 shanks of meat with a giant side of mushrooms. It was not a stew. The Wellington was cooked well, but it wasn’t outstanding. We also tried the roasted chicken. The sides were great, but the chicken is well, chicken.
I’d rate this place as an extremely overpriced mediocre restaurant at best. The food is nothing special and not executed well. We tried a new spot to celebrate a few birthdays, but we won’t be back.
Got there around 9:00pm and they were out of 4 of their 9 offered entry’s. Very disappointing.
Hi Joni - Thanks very much for joining us this past Homecoming Weekend. It's true that by 9PM, our Chefs let us know we had sold through four of our most popular dishes. We served over 315 dinners that evening and while we do our very best to ensure we have everything for everyone, we clearly didn't prepare enough that exciting evening. I hope you'll consider us again when thinking of where to dine out . I can be reached directly on my cell at 310.429.7230. Best regards, Jeff
I rated the ambience lower because the music was more suited for the bar than for having a nice leisurely dinner. The service and food were great though!
Delicious, and very cool space for large and small groups. The service was really slow, unfortunately, even though there were very few people. But such an excellent brunch I'm happy to try again.
great food. The inside dining is pretty loud, and we've noticed this a few times. We sat outside this time, and it was nice. Wish we could make this a regular stop, but the price point for us is just a little high.
Meal and wine were excellent. Hostess and server were very personable and attentive. Our only caveat is that the space is noisy (and therefore) not ideal for conversations.
Great food. Server was very nice and pleasant. However we had to fill our wine glasses all night. Simple fix that would have made the service top notch.
The food was great! Wine selection was very good too
The food was awesome and unique. Nice place to get my niece off campus for a meal.
The best burger in FoCo.
Emporium never disappoints. Food and service are both amazing.
We took a friend to The Emporium for her birthday and so glad we did. We were greeted with a smile, promptly seated and they even had the “Happy Birthday” menus for us! A nice touch. We ordered scallops and mushroom flatbread for appetizers. The scallops were fantastic and it was hard to be polite and let the birthday guest have the lion’s share! Loved the mushroom flat bread. The truffled honey, on the flat bread, was perfect and the only change I would make is to request a moist cloth to wipe excess honey from my fingers (it doesn’t feel like the right place to lick my fingers clean!).
We all shared the bison and the lamb pasta for the main course, both excellent choices. Great flavors and cooked perfectly! We then ordered three desserts to share, the ice cream sundae, the cannoli, and the creme brûlée. Hard to pick a favorite and we finished them all! The creme brûlée was the best I have had in Fort Collins. The lemon madeleines were a nice touch and the dessert servings were all generous but not garishly large.
Our server was friendly and very helpful. I have only 4 stars for ambiance due to the almost overpowering, perfume-y smell that hit us as we walked into the restaurant from the hotel entrance. Otherwise, it was excellent. I feel the prices were about right, especially compared to other recently opened, fine dining restaurants in the area. We will return!
My wife and I celebrated our 46th anniversary there, along with five other family members. We were pleasantly surprised by the menu having a Happy 46th Anniversary in large red print at the top.
We started by sharing a bread basket ($10, unlike French brasserie, where unlimited bread is free) and Moules et Frites ($19) with spicy sauce as an appetizer. Both were excellent, and the moules were plenty shared about five ways. A bottle of rose bubbly ($45) washed it all down.
Four of us ordered the Bison Bourguignon ($24), and all declared it a melt-in- your-mouth winner. The portions were modest, but the sauce rich. One of us ordered the salmon, and it too was excellent. Most of us shared about the least expensive bottle of red we could find, a Spanish Monastrell blend ($36), a nice, rich and fruity match with the bourguignon. My daughter had a salad and onion soup, which she said were both well done. Our 3-year-old grandson loved his pasta and meat ball (the second meat ball ended up on the floor).
A quart of decaf coffee, several ice creams and creme brûlées capped the evening nicely.
The atmosphere is quite casual, with quite a few young children. Service was excellent—professional and friendly.
A couple ordering only a main course, dessert and a couple glasses of wine should expect to spend no less than $100 with tip. It would not be hard to double that.
Delicious meal, great service!
The Emporium was a great fine dining experience. The food was excellent with a huge range of bold tasting notes. I would highly recommend starting with an appetizer so you can cover the whole menu. Our server Jordan catered to our every need without being overwhelming. The manager at the time Phil made sure to check in with us to assure everything was enjoyable. Overall, it was an amazing dinner and experience for a special occasion!
Food was excellent and the cocktails were good. Service was a little slow.
One of Fort Collins best restaurants. Wine, cocktails and the mussels are superb plus their daily specials really hot it out of the park.
All good except for the price of the liquor. Cost of a double shot of Tito Vodka was $20. A total rip off. Ruined the experience after getting the check. Cannot recommend to friends, in fact, will warn friends if they plan on drinking any spirits, the cost is way out of line.
Great food, great service, tables could be a bit better located as two of the 4 guests face the wall, good wine selection. Overall I would come back and celebrate at the Emporium but would choose a better table location.
Lovely! Great food, great service.
Best spot in town for breakfast/brunch
