Great place for a good meal. Ambiance is amazing. Service was warm and friendly. Beets and Berries salad was very nice, Clam chowder was amazing. Muscles were....well, I'd skip those. This was our first time here and we'll be back many times in the future.

My daughter didn’t like her dish (eggplant rigatoni) but she never likes to complain so she just pushed it aside. Staff was friendly and my dish was good (salmon a bit over done and dry).

We arrived at 11:50am for a 12pm Easter brunch reservation. At 12:15 we were told they could seat our group of 5 adults outside in 45°weather or at a table inside but it would be a “tight fit”. Finally seated at a high top at 12:25pm. Bartender was our server but we had to ask for refills of coffee, juice and water, and unfortunately they were not timely. Food was delicious, ambiance okay, but hostess and service left much to be desired.

Fabulous brunch! Some of the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. The smashed and fried new potatoes were perfectly seasoned. The waitress was very attentive and helpful.

We have eaten at the emporium numerous times over the past several years and always enjoyed every aspect of our dining experience. Sorry to say that this year the entrees were mediocre at best . They were disappointing in preparation, presentation and flavor. The Cajun shrimp on grits with andouille sausage was bland to the point of being almost flavorless. In the past it had been excellent. The wait time to receive the food was long and when it came it was not piping hot but barely warmer than room temperature. Children in our party asked several times why the food was taking so long. It was almost if the chef had tried to teach himself the preparations that night but failed. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfasts have been solid over the several days we’ve been here.
