Had two meals in the restaurant and each time I have found meals not to be tasty. One time in evening service was delayed and had to return the food as it wad cold.
The food and service was great.
The food is a bit overpriced. The service wasn’t good. A waiter tried to take our food when we were still eating
The service was great and the food was amazing. Definitely going back soon.
Great views and sunset. Food is sub par. Service was okay. Casual, Not upscale. If you’re looking for a great sunset casual ambiance and ok food then check it out!
Overpriced for the quality of food. Service was not good due to understaffed.
Arrived on a later flight with reservations at 0845 through open table. Restaurant was in our hotel and we arrived on time for reservations immediately after checking in. Staff informed us that they seat their last table at 8 30PM and that the kitchen was already closing. No other options were provided and they said there should not have been an option for 0845.
Great view, great food, great service and great friends!
Dinner on the deck is very pleasant. I hesitate to go back because of the limited menu.
We enjoyed our evening with a great meal and fine service.
We have reservations for tomorrow and have requested the same table and our server, Cindy..
Lovely gulf front patio. Pretty unremarkable menu, executed the same way. High season pricing, way too many ill behaved children. In short, a pretty standard Hilton experience. Nothing bad but nothing very good. Better to take your chances with the local restaurants.
The dinner entrees were excellent. I would suggest they expand appetizer selection to include more non fish options. While it was a bit chilly on the evening we dined there the outdoor heaters made our dining time very comfortable. We will be back
Wonderful service and delicious food with breathtaking views!
Had a nice outdoor dining experience. Weather was nice, although where we sat the lighting wasn’t the best to see the menu.....lol. Definitely would go again. They valet your car so you don’t have to worry about parking.
We were table of 4 and ordered burger, chicken sandwich, and flatbreads. Our waiter took forever to take our order. Then we waited very long to get our desserts that we almost left. It wasn’t busy enough for these delays. The view is gorgeous and food was good so overall experience could be great with better waiter.
Beautiful view, excellent food and service. One of the best birthday nights!
Staying at the Hilton Marco island the restaurant has a very good rating so we tried it. Location and service was good. Food was awful. I do not recommend it.
Food and service was very good. Prices high. You are paying for the gulf front view( get there before dark to enjoy it.
We had a great experience and genuine service at the Deck at 560. Would definitely recommend and return again!
The making of the reservation and the ambience was perfect but the meals were extremely small even for woman ,so I can’t imagine going there with my husband. we had the short ribs special one small piece of meat on a small mound of potato with 2 sprigs of bok Choy- I had something to eat when I got home
Sunday after church date
Sat down for about 30 seconds and got up and left. This is your run of the mill hotel restaurant. Poor lighting, awful music, lots of kids running around - seemed like a food court.
Went for Christmas Day dinner with my family of 4. The food was terrible but the ambience and facilities were gorgeous. Left with a dimmer bill exceeding $350 and had better food earlier in the day at a local bar for $65for the four of us. I’m sure the hotel amenities are nice but would not recommend the food.
The buffet was terrible. Cold and poorly prepared food and lack of selection.
The Hilton had trouble keeping up with replenishing the food.
Our view from the deck was absolutely beautiful!! Service was good but the food was not good. It was a buffet and most things were empty and we ate at 5:30. The food was bland and for the price of $60 a person we expected more. (Like many tasty and healthy options at the JW!) Desserts were picked over and more like from the store than homemade. Will try dinner there when not a holiday as the view and service was good.
We had Christmas dinner there. It was a buffet so that might account for the food being underwhelming. Some dishes were cold. They did not restock the stations very quickly. A red fish had been picked to the bone and was not replaced while we were there. Not what we expected for the price.
My family and I booked a reservation for Christmas buffet shortly after Thanksgiving, as we were going to be on island for the week. We were hoping for another venue, but were told that the Hilton "did a nice job", and the other restaurant was booked.
We arrived on time and were seated in an average location. Service was a little slow at first, but once our server realized we were there, things were good. The food however was severely disappointing. The salad bar was okay, even though the choices were somewhat limited. The choices on the serving line were few and the they needed to be refreshed. The carving station had "roast beef", not Prime Rib as one might expect, and ham. The beef had little flavor other than the peppercorn crust, and the ham was abysmal--it was overcooked and dry. The pasta station was the best of all the options, with a nice choice of pasta and sauce and a very pleasant and accommodating chef. And finally the dessert station was an embarrassment! When we arrived at 1 pm, the restaurant was only 2/3 full, and the desserts were the first thing you saw. There were numerous selections and seemed plentiful. By the time we went to get something, there were few choices and the tables were a wreck. 2 or 3 cookies on a plate and some "Yule log" leftovers. I would have asked someone about replenishment, but there was no one to ask.
Needless to say, at $65 per person and a predetermined server gratuity of $12.50, I expected far, far better. I admit that it has been a few years since I was at a Hilton buffet, but in days past I have always enjoyed a marvelous selection of dishes well prepared. I was very disappointed and annoyed at this offering and can assure you that we will not think of Hilton Marco Island again for dining.
We went here for Christmas brunch/lunch. This was not a $65 per person buffet. The food was not good and we are not picky eaters. They were not ready to serve at 12 when our seating was scheduled. There were many missing or incorrect serving utensils. Food was not labeled. The food was either too bland or too salty. We tried almost everything on the menu. The best items on the menu were salad and the children’s macaroni. Big thumbs down for this meal, and I’m not sure I’ve ever given a bad review before this one. We did give it 2 stars for great cocktails and nice beach view.
Calamari appetizer was really good. My filet was supposed to be rare. Was a little tough, definitely not prime quality. My husbands rib eye was the same. The cioppino was really good. Desserts were great. Service was very good and everyone was really friendly. But restaurant was noisy. Outside probably would have been great, but was windy and chilly.
The location is so beautiful. Our waitress Miriam was awesome and the food as well. We had chicken tacos and a hamburger. Excellent experience
We had an amazing dinner at the Deck. We’ve had a couple of bad experiences in the past, but heard that the kitchen crew had completely changed and decided to give it another chance. The food was amazing, the live music was great, and the service was perfect. And, you can’t beat the view.
Great food and great service.
This was my mother-in law’s 96th birthday. At the end of our wonderful meal, our waitress and other staff members brought out a key lime tart with a lit candle on it and ”Happy Birthday” written in raspberry coulis. They then sang happy birthday to her. She was so impressed and moved by the whole experience!!!! Thank you so much for everything. It was so memorable!!!
The renovations are stellar. The restaurant has a modern and comfortable aesthetic with nice lighting and inviting materials. The menu, however, has not reached its potential. Some good ideas for dishes, but the kitchen needs to improve on execution. The cioppino has more unidentified whitefish than the lobster or shellfish noted on the menu. The lobster mac and cheese, if seasoned with a bit more salt, pepper, and a dash of dry mustard, might bring out the flavors of the whisky cheddar promised in the description. Cocktails were well made and balanced. Server was adequate but apparently having a hard time believing in the menu as well.
A regroup of the staff and a revisit of the dishes coming out of the kitchen versus what they have been envisioned to be, might help the dining portion of this experience rise to the standard of the environment and its ocean-side location
We had the Thanksgiving buffet at Deck 560. There were soooo many choices and the food was quite good. We enjoyed our meal and would do it again!
Went to enjoy the Thanksgiving buffet. Overall it was a very good experience.
Most of the food offered was delicious. The service was attentive and they did a very nice job.
We love Thanksgiving at Marco and have been there multiple times in the past. This year we were disappointed. Service was less than stellar and dressing was terrible. The addition of an 18% service fee was a surprise. Prefer to tip based on the actual service and in cash. They also charge for parking, which is new. Next year we’ll try the Marriott. Too bad 😕
