The surroundings and decor are spectacular - but the food and service really didn't match it. It was good but not what you expected from a $28 breakfast sandwich and a $16 glass of yogurt with some berries and a sprinkle of granola. I am happy to pay for excellent food and service but this one did not deliver. The beautiful setting (we sat outside by the pool) helped ease the pain but would not return. Just too overpriced for what you get.

Wonderful dinner in a beautiful romantic setting. Service was attentive and helpful. Favorite dishes were edamame hummus, asparagus salad, free range chicken and pork. Drinks were also delicious! Can’t wait to come back, it’s very special. Thank you!

The restaurant was so dark that it was difficult to read the menu. The menu itself was limited with some options being unavailable. The wine list was similar, with very few wines by the glass. Service was slow, and needed prompting, despite there being few diners at the time. Main meals were overcooked and disappointing

Great vibes. Nice staff. Very high prices for middling food. Breakfast especially felt egregious. 2 eggs,2 bacon meal was 23 dollars and only came with one sad, skinny piece of toast that was supposedly sourdough, but tasted like it came from a grocery store bag. French toast was also mid-20 dollars for a single piece of French toast. Obviously it’s not Denny’s, and I don’t expect massive portions, but it felt very noticeably stingy.

We went to The Colony Club specifically for a guest chef residence (Chef Vanda Asapahu) that featured thai food, one of our favorites, though Colony Club's in-house chef is fantastic too. This time's experience was one for the books! I consider myself a better than average cook and am always looking for new, interesting, and delightful food experiences in town. The food was the best I've had in Palm Springs since living here for over 5 years. The food outlets here are usually mediocre at best and have the same typical menu offerings (chicken, beef, fish, veggie + sides and appetizers) which are not at all exciting or interesting. However, this dining experience at Colony Club with the guest chef, in collaboration with Executive Chef Michael Hung, was outstanding. The food was served family style, meaning each dish was meant to be shared, so we were able to taste many different dishes (it was a 5 course meal). Everything was delicious, complex in flavor, and made with seasonal ingredients. The only less-than-great experience was that the service was a bit rushed. I would have liked more time between each dish and at a slower pace. The wait staff are great and very attentive but they could have slowed down just a little bit. I can't wait for the next guest chef and I'll likely be back to eat at The Colony Club even before that. It's a go-to for consistent and fantastic food and true gem in the heart of Palm Springs.

We have stayed at the Colony Palms before . I recommend this restaurant for a poolside salad or burger —at most a cocktail. Pricing was very expensive for the quality . Service while friendly was lack luster —our bottle of wine sat in the bucket while we waited to have another pour , cocktail had to be cancelled as it never arrived —-and this was a Monday night and the restaurant was not filled . Sadly I don’t think I will be returning for another very expensive meal . Too bad.

Gorgeous location. Good food. Terrible Service. We couldn’t work out what was going on, there were two managers pottering around fixing knives and napkins, and yet our server didn’t take our drink order for over 20 minutes. It was just as long waiting to get another drink and when my husband asked for water it took so long he ended up drinking mine - there were only a few tables and there were plenty of people coming in and out of the kitchen - but for the life of us we could not get served - odd experience.

The food is much improved since the last time I went. Then is was almost inedible. The grilled swordfish was delicious but significantly over priced for the size of portion and the few vegetables that accompanied it. An excellent restaurant in NYC of the level of Marea would be embarrassed to charge what Colony Club charged for the dinner. Although I love the ambiance, I’m not going to return due to the egregious pricing and inconsistent quality.

The ambience did not disappoint! Very romantic setting for a date night. We ordered 2 appetizers, the asparagus salad, and the risotto to share. Each dish was beautifully plated but overall the food lacked flavor and left us underwhelmed. Would go back for a cocktail and that ambience, but not for the food.

Some hiccups to service. Ordered truffle fries and deviled eggs to start. Deviled eggs and onion tarts were dropped. This made coursing awkward for the fries - they came about 10 min after we'd already finished the eggs. Would've been nice to see more proactive coursing to make the meal feel well timed. The cured salmon was good but not worth the $26. Some stuck-on food debris on some of the flatware and silver on the table. Much of the silver was not polished - something I'd expect of a restaurant of this price point. Bar broke down loudly in the background of our dinner - we were among the last 2 parties seated, but were never asked if we wanted drinks ahead of last call, etc. Also it should be noted that this loud breakdown was at 8:00 or so - only 15 min after the last available seating of the night. Our entree hadn't even hit the table yet and we were made to feel like we should rush through it.
