After waiting 3 years for the re-opening of the former Merek's, we were not disappointed1 Although the menu has changed and is now Southern Comfort food for the most part, everything was delicious. The wine selection is very good too. The best part is the ambiance with a breezy coastal vibe! Open air bar area is the best! We highly recommend The Collier House!

The acoustics were not the best. Made it hard to talk. We had reservations for the porch but because of the rain had to sit inside. The High top was not easy for me to get in the higher chair! Loved the restaurant and the decor and service and staff were so nice! Would definitely go back and the cornbread was great!

This restaurant is GORGEOUS! The main dining room was not yet open so all seating was in the beautiful bar area or outside. The food was very good. The cornbread with jalapeno was a little dry and not enough kick but the strawberry jam accompanying it was delicious. Wedge salad was delicious and had a beautiful presentation. Brisket burger was the standout. So flavorful. Fried chicken sandwich was delicious as well and was accompanied by potato salad. There was only one dessert available which was a very respectable key lime pie, although definitely overpriced at $18.
