   This was my forst time there. I had the French fry-stuffed wrap, which was okay. It was hot, but it tasted like decent cafeteria food. The setvice was very nice and I enjoyed myself there. I plan on going back today, if it is opened. It's a nice campus meeting spot/ restaurant.

   The food was disappointing compared to my previous experiences. The soup was warm but not hot, the french fries were tasteless and almost burnt, and the burger was mediocre. There was a large piece of pork rind on the burger, which was different. The menu lacked the famous crab sandwiches and other foods. I heard there was a buffet but we didn't have that option. We were seated in a side area where there was no one else, so we didn't have the Christmas ambiance. The piano music was nice. This was supposed to be a special lunch but I was disappointed.

   I received your announcement for Thanksgiving buffet, and made reservations. However, when I got there, I was told there was no reservation, no special arrangement for a Thanksgivng celebration, no decoration in the restaurant. I had invited a friend since in previous years, it had been a fine experince, and a true celebration. The menu and the food were OK, but nothing really special. The whole thing was quite a let down and disappointment. Not to be repeated, either for Christmas or for next year.

   This lunch was for my supervisor, 2 colleagues, and a speaker from out of town. I have never heard him complain so much about service. He said the food was good but the service was terrible. His comment: "the Club [at Union Square] is a restaurant attached to a buffet."

   Unfortunately, there were very few options for a gluten-free diet. I was disappointed in the small size of the salad. The shrimp etouffe was too spicy, burned my mouth. Spicy food is a problem for IBD. Will not be back. The service was friendly, but very slow. Restrooms need cleaning.

   Bad experience at a place that used to be quite elegant. To begin with, they didn't have a table prepared for us and the hostess argued with me saying I had reserved a table for 4 and not 6. This review request SHOWS that I had reserved a table for 6!!! Then she walked off and we stood around for 10 minutes. I flagged down another person and then hostess came back and the three of us argued about why I didn't have a table!!!! They had not even STARTED to clean a table for us, even though they had dozens of tables empty. That other girl finally prepared our table. The food was disappointingly bland, but this was a Sunday brunch buffet, so what can one expect. The furniture was in need of recovering, and the utensils where nothing special. We were disappointed because the Faculty Club used to be a nice place to go with loads of atmosphere. Hope they can redo it.
