   We went for the 5 course tasting menu. At £25.00 you really can’t complain but it was super average, as expected I guess!

   Just ok nothing special, was expecting more. Visited for my wedding anniversary and went for a la carte menu. Small portions, undercooked chips, fish and meat a little on the cheap side. Could do with overall improving

   Had a lovely date! We went for the five taster menu, where you pick from the prix fixe menu plus amuse-bouche & predessert. We enjoyed all dishes. The amuse-bouche was tomato gazpacho with toasted brie and the predessert was a berry sorbet. We enjoyed everything. Interior was nice and is located in a pretty street. Would recommend.

   NOW CLOSED! Shame. It was a great restaurant and certainly one of the best in the area.

   Lovely food! We had the five-course dinner and were happy with every dish. All well-presented too, in a nicely arranged space. Great for a date. One suggestion: a wine list with some more interesting choices would really add to the experience!

   We had a great meal! I could not fault the service and food was incredibly tasty from start to finish! Thank you for allowing us to have such a wonderful evening. I would highly recommend and would visit again.

   Chose to eat at The Clock for the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, with a friend. Staff masked, distancing & friendly. Sea bass was a first class main dish. Chorizo & sweetcorn croquettes were an interesting & tasty starter, & the fruity Summer pudding finished things off nicely. The maximum number of diners at any time & where we were seated was obviously controlled, which was thoughtful & impressive - I witnessed some local restaurants that were "cramming them in" & encouraging queuing. Feeling comfortable when eating out is important at the moment, and we certainly did so.

    Young knowledgeable staff, striking art on the walls, a wine list that is vibrant and innovative at the same time, very good value for the five courses with a glass of Champagne, simply outstanding scallops starter and Cod with three caviars sauce. To top it up, a lemon posset served in a clever jam glass pot. The quality of coffee is also remarkable. I can see from other reviews that this place has gone trough teething problems, but the value for money plus the courtesy are already there. Beware, I am already addicted.
