Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     I have lived in St Louis for 39 years now and I have been to so many steak houses here. Most of them very good to excellent but last night changed the game. From the minute I walked in I had a few questions and changes. Reservation went from 8 to 6. From that moment the service excellence started. Brandon our waiter and all the other dining staff were so wonderful. We ended up being there for 4 hours. Had the most incredible dining experience. Oh yeah, the food. The Grand Plateau appetizer is a must for a seafoodies group. I was in east coast heaven. Then there was the soup, salads and STEAKS! And a must dessert is the Coconut Cream Pie! I can not wait to go back!

    Greg was a phenomenal server. We received card, dessert and champagne for celebrating my 40th birthday. We will definitely be back and be asking for Greg as our server.

    Made a lunch reservation to celebrate a co-worker’s retirement. The folks at Capital Grille were nice enough to put some celebratory confetti and a Congratulations card on the table. It was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated!!

    Once again Capital Grille delivered a wonderful dinner! For me, it’s the only way to “cheat” on my restrictive “heart healthy” diet! Filet with Béarnaise, a perfect medium rare, triple cut bacon appetizer, lobster Mac’n Cheese, and roasted Brussels sprouts! Finished to perfection with their house made “Strawberry Basil” Sorbet! Thank you!

    I went for lunch and got a Medium Rare dry aged Kc steak and Parmesan truffle fries. The steak was juicy and tender and the fries were wonderful.

    Came rather late for lunch. 1:30. Seemed like waiter wanted us out pretty quick. Bread was stale, soup warm. Put bill on table after main course. Did not ask if we wanted dessert or coffee.
