We ate outside on the patio which was beautiful with a lovely waterfall fountain feature. The food was very good. I particularly recommend the mushroom ravioli entree and the baked Brie starter.
Always an amazing experience. We all had amazing entrees and impeccable customer service. The sea bass special was one of the best I’ve ever had.
I'm sure the COVID 19 challenges have been daunting for all restaurants. The Cabin could use a facelift, however. It is showing age and could be so much nicer with a little bit of TLC. Food was good to very good, prices fair, & service was good (but the servers could use a little nicer duds as well) Willing to give another try.
Tonight we celebrated my husband's birthday dinner and our first time at the Cabin. It was truly a treat. We enjoyed the meal, our waitress was delightful and the ambiance was perfect. Thanks Mario's! We had a great experience and will definitely be back.

We love sitting on the patio on a warm summer evening with the waterfall. In front of us. The food is very good. Never disappointing.
When we asked for a table outside they took us to a table far away from where others we seated. There were tables closer to the fountain but we were told they were reserved for other people.. we watched and ate as other diners came in and were "offered" the other tables closer to where we wanted to sit. That did not sit well with us. Food was mediocre at best and we didn't feel we got good value for our money. Will not recommend.
Great evening on the patio, nice to have music but it was just to loud, hard to talk and listen to our group. Love to have the music just need to tone down a little.

I was very impressed with their attention to Covid 19 restrictions. We were seated at least 6 feet apart and all of the staff wore masks the whole time we were there. The food was excellent, as usual!!
Food was great and so was service. Only think that I wasn't happy about was the menu being much smaller because of COVID , and the app not showing the downsized menu. Was not able to order what we usually do

We arrived at perfect time. The tables that came after had a very long wait time on their food. The food was outstanding. Mussels were some of the best I've ever had. Ambiance was beautiful.
Our reservations were at 6:00 pm, so we went to the bar at 5:00 pm for drinks and appetizers. We were told to pick out a table at 6:00 pm and everyone around us got waited on except us!
We waited for 20 minutes very patiently!
When I went to the hostess to tell her we were waiting, she apologized. She said she would send someone over to our table.
Our waiter and another waitress came over to our table and we explained what happened.
The waitress made a snide remark, “ Were you waiting 3 hours?”
We walked out, since we were very upset!

We enjoyed our Anniversary dinner at Mario’s. It’s such a romantic setting and the piano music is lovely. Our server was very sweet and kind. But, once her area filled up we did have to wait for water, and drinks and our check. We enjoyed the meal but would have liked more menu choices.

The Service was beyond awful. Our food came out over cooked. For 52$ a steak it should have been great. The server was extremely rude and made us feel u comfortable. It’s a shame because I used to enjoy it. I have never left a bad compliant anywhere.
Not sure what was going on but the service was very slow but she was very nice. Food took forever to come although they were out of many items. The food was mediocre at best! We've dined here over the years and it has gone down hill-very sad!

Food was quite good; maybe even great. The cabin atmosphere was fantastic, all dressed elegantly for the holidays. But the service was quite terrible. We made a reservation at 9p through the app a bit over an hour before 9p. We had to travel through some snowy weather to get there, arrived and the first thing the host asked (who wound up being our waiter, too) was if we wanted to sit at the bar. When we said no, we wanted a table, he tried to encourage us to sit at the bar again, including discouraging us about even being there (that they were going to close 'soon', even though that was an hour from then, and Open Table even was accepting a later reservation at 9:30), and we said no again. I agreed to the bar area, which was still nice, but we didn't want high chairs right at the bar. Then, throughout the night, after initially trying to warn us that we'd "Have to order fast" since they were closing at 10p, our waiter was slow and rarely checked on us, even though we were right in the middle of his path around the bar. At one point, while we'd been waiting to order for at least 10 minutes, just a few feet in front of our table the bartender, our waiter, and whom we later discovered was the manager, were having a casual joking conversation between them. I've been to many restaurants, of all caliber, and I can't even recall the last time I've had service this indifferent, and I may never have had such a sour welcome as this was.
This is clearly a beautiful place with really good food that is literally sabotaged by a staff who could care less to be there. What a shame.
The Cabin still had holiday decorations up so the ambience was great. It was Super Bowl Sunday, so there were not many diners. The food was generally good with a few items only like warm. The service was attentive.
We waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order. Then almost an hour for the meal to arrive.
Love dining here because of the beautiful ambiance. Very cosy and perfect for a cold snowy evening. Server was very nice and professional, however kitchen was very slow in food preparation. Food was a little disappointing and overpriced. They have changed their menu and you can no longer order some of the lighter fare that was once offered. Salad and dessert were very good; chicken entree was ok. Would return for the ambiance but not for the food. Overpriced for size of portions and preparation.
Everything was absolutely perfect at this quaint and beautiful dining destination. It is exquisitely decorated with winter charm. The food was delicious and a great value. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly from start to finish. They even graciously allowed us to bring our own cake for my mom’s birthday, even placing and lighting candles for us that they had in hand. I will definitely make reservations at The Cabin again!!!
We come at least once or twice during the holiday season just to enjoy the festive decorations...a must see. Our waitress this visit was Jennifer and she was perfect.

The following has not been our previous experience at The Cabin.
The food was not hot.
One entree, a steak dinner was rare after a request for medium well was requested. It was returned to the kitchen for further preparation but was not medium well upon return. It was not worth sending back to the kitchen again.
The entrees were supposed to include mashed potatoes and green beans. Our server indicated that they had switched things up on him and instead a baked potato and a couple of pieces of broccolini were served instead. The broccoli was presented more as a garnish over the potato rather than a vegetable side dish.
Our experience was not an isolated one given that a neighboring table apparently had to send food back that was also cold.
The server was not particularly attentive and did not really seem to be invested in facilitating a good dining experience.
I would have expected that someone from the front would have followed up prior to the check being delivered to the table for payment given food had to be returned to the kitchen.
All in all this was very disappointing.

Food was great, atmosphere over the top! Our only complaint was how HOT the restaurant was. We couldn't wait to go outside to cool down.
Love the atmosphere especially at Christmas but everything we go we know we are going to have to wait for the food. It doesn’t hinder us from going. We just have to know to not be in a hurry.
We have visited here many times before, since we live around the corner. Food was good, and the waiter was attentive. However, waiting over 1 hour and 15 minutes for our meal to arrive is inexcusable. We pay a premium to eat at this restaurant, and I would expect the same with the dinner service from the kitchen. We may have to skip visiting here during the holidays, which would be a shame since the decorations are Ana omg.
Christmas Eve dinner
Had early (4 pm) reservations on Christmas Eve. As we walked in, hostess told us to make sure we were out in two hours because someone had reserved the entire room and we couldn't stay. We accommodated and ordered dinner & drinks as quickly as we could. However, waited over half hour for food . When dinner arrived, never received appetizer (soup) . Our dinners were barely warm (I sent mine back to be re-heated, my spouse didn't bother. Our daughter's dinner of spaghetti & meatballs came without the meatballs.) Our server was very kind, professional, and did what she could, but it was not enough to make up for a disappointing meal on a special night. Because it was a holiday, we understood why there was a limited menu and high price. We did not expect small portions or cold and missing food. It should be noted we had Christmas Eve Dinner in 2018 at Mario's & it was excellent. That's why we came back in 2019. Don't think we will be back in 2020.
