   Great fillet steak and the Tuesday 50% off was brilliant. We received excellent and friendly service and advice from your waiter Ilias. Shame you've closed in Wimbledon - see you in Battersea! Kind regards, Richard.

   It was my second time to the restaurant on Tuesday night whereby some cuts of the meat is on 50% discount. I was really pleased with my first experience, thus disappointed to know that it's closing down soon due to high rent. So I had high expectation on my second visit. It was really busy that night but the waiters were still reasonably attentive. My partner ordered a rump steak with the additional 100g while I ordered the sirloin. He was really pleased with his while I sent mine back coz it wasn't cooked the way I had ordered it. I was given a replacement plate very quickly. However, it really didn't taste much. Sad to say, I was disappointed. Hopefully it'll be to good standard once more when they open up again at another location.

   We had dinner in the Butcher and Grill to celerate a birthday. The food was excellent and very good value. We had a great night and were very sad to hear that the restaurant is about to close - Wimbledon will mis it

   Birthday Celebration An absolute lovely time, we were all cared for and hospitality and warmness was second to none ...these people want to serve you and ensure you have a wonderful experience/time. We are all definately returning.

   We visited the restaurant with our two boys15 and 18. It was fairly full with one really large table - about 20. They were ok during their meal but someone made a loud speech delivered as though to the whole restaurant! After the meal, they proceeded to have a row amongst themselves - 3 or 4 of them inside the restaurant (heated and unpleasant - one of the girls needed up crying). At no point did the manger considered the other visitors to the restaurant. He seemed very stressed and the atmosphere with his staff was poor. Such a pity, as our waitress was fine and food really great. Also, the lighting above the diner seating area could be less glaring and bright. We think the restaurant has got great potential but, as yet, not reached!!

   The Butcher & Grill Wimbledon is a fantastic place in the heart of Wimbledon Village. The meat is amazing - taken directly from the butcher and the staff lovely!

   We were out celebrating and we didn't come away disappointed! The staff looked after us well and the food was fabulous! I had the fish of the day which was beautiful and my boyfriend had steak which was melt into the mouth. The Prosecco that we ordered to start with was served very chilled which started our evening off well. Thank you to the staff for making our evening special.

   Love the Butcher and Grill and sad to see it go from Wimbledon but we'll definitely be going to the Battersea restaurant

    We have been to the Butcher and Grill a few times, as the steak is one of the best I have had. This time our starters were terrible (pheasant breast), steak was over cooked and chewy and the service, although not unpleasant, wasn't particularly good.
