We look forward to welcoming you at The Bull Highgate! All tables are held for a max of 15 minutes, so if you are running late please call us to let us know. All tables outside are subject to the wonderful British weather, so please be prepared for this accordingly.

The back garden closes at 9 PM, so please be aware that the last bookings we are able to offer for this area are at 6 PM for the parties of 6+ and 6:30 PM for the smaller groups.

We will try, where we can to accommodate specific table requests, but cannot guarantee specific table allocation, especially at peak times.

Lovely pub, however food was a bit of a let down. We ordered the steak & Guinness pie. Pie was lacking of any Guinness flavour, more of a tomatoey flavour, mash potato was dreadful, had a very weird rubbery texture, almost like the mash had been frozen or packeted mash and with very small side of cabbage… for the price we didn’t think the standard of food was anywhere good enough

We've launched our new menu recently and we're always available and ready to fine-tune it. The idea behind the larger portions of sides is that these can be made interesting, delicious and big enough that a starter and a side might suffice for a Spring/Summer meal at the pub. We love the bull and their amazing roast pork but the menu was new and so we ordered the beef instead. The roast was so disappointing . It was tasteless and the pigs in blanket we ordered on a side was pale and needed to be cooked more. The staff only charged for one meal but I m afraid we won’t be going back for a while… please bring back your roast pork!!!!

Lovely pub and lovely staff. We went for the Sunday roast which would have been ok except it had obviously been sitting at the pass for a while before we got it and was only just warm. Shame - as otherwise good.

Always a pleasure to visit The Bull. Never disappointed with the food which is always plentiful and delicious and today was no exception. Only disappointment was the alcohol free sangria which was nothing like sangria should be.

This was one of the worst meals I have eaten out for many years. Appalling service and food. I think they were short- staffed, we waited over an hour for chicken Kyiv which was distinctly lacking in garlic butter and clearly cooked from frozen. The staff apologised for the evening and we were given a large discount. Other customers had a similar experience. There are many other good restaurants in this area, and if this evening was representative, it won’t be open for much longer. Sadly we won’t be returning.
