Your table will be booked for:
1 hour 30 minutes for parties of up to 2;
2 hours for parties of up to 4;
2 hours 30 minutes for parties of up to 6;
3 hours for parties of 7+.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

We look forward to welcoming you at The Bull Highgate! All tables are held for a max of 15 minutes, so if you are running late please call us to let us know. All tables outside are subject to the wonderful British weather, so please be prepared for this accordingly.

The back garden closes at 9 PM, so please be aware that the last bookings we are able to offer for this area are at 6 PM for the parties of 6+ and 6:30 PM for the smaller groups.

We will try, where we can to accommodate specific table requests, but cannot guarantee specific table allocation, especially at peak times.

A great venue with pleasant surroundings. Our party had lunch and the service was excellent with very friendly staff. The menu was different from most places with interesting dishes offered

Really great Sunday roast. Roast potatoes were crispy, chicken was moist and sides were delicious. Great desserts too

Food was excellent and we had a lovely table in the window - staff were great. The only thing that let it down was the fact that there was a party out the back and it initially felt there wasn't enough staff for the main bar/restaurant with only one person in the bar, and no one greeted us for some time. The party also thought it was OK to leave a big group of their children in the bar area next to us without supervision - absolutely not the fault of the staff, but potentially could have been mentioned to the party.

Lovely pub, however food was a bit of a let down. We ordered the steak & Guinness pie. Pie was lacking of any Guinness flavour, more of a tomatoey flavour, mash potato was dreadful, had a very weird rubbery texture, almost like the mash had been frozen or packeted mash and with very small side of cabbage… for the price we didn’t think the standard of food was anywhere good enough

Our pies are one of our best selling dishes, and we cook everything from fresh ingredients, so this is surprising to us. Overall good restaurant, some issues with portion sizes (appetizers as large as mains) and not great service unfortunately.

Hi Ines, Thank you for popping in and for taking the time to let us know how we did, and our apologies for not having delivered the standards we strive to meet. We've launched our new menu recently and we're always available and ready to fine-tune it. The idea behind the larger portions of sides is that these can be made interesting, delicious and big enough that a starter and a side might suffice for a Spring/Summer meal at the pub. We love the bull and their amazing roast pork but the menu was new and so we ordered the beef instead. The roast was so disappointing . It was tasteless and the pigs in blanket we ordered on a side was pale and needed to be cooked more. The staff only charged for one meal but I m afraid we won’t be going back for a while… please bring back your roast pork!!!!

Lovely pub and lovely staff. We went for the Sunday roast which would have been ok except it had obviously been sitting at the pass for a while before we got it and was only just warm. Shame - as otherwise good.

Always a pleasure to visit The Bull. Never disappointed with the food which is always plentiful and delicious and today was no exception. Only disappointment was the alcohol free sangria which was nothing like sangria should be.
