   One of my favorite pubs. It was a little 'off' today. Staff great. We three were almost the only customers between 1pm - 3pm. Food was great as always. We were having a dry lunch but the beer is always good. DD is excellent. The wine list is still lacking but that's no biggie. The only issue was my coffee. I asked for oat milk. I got it. It was off. And there was only a sad carton in the fridge which looked like it had been opened during lockdown. There was no more. So... hardly a deal breaker. Apart from that. Great place.

   We went for a Sunday roast; meat was cooked perfectly and good Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Vegetables need some attention. Carrots, parsnips and potatoes all needed roasting more and caulicheese underwhelming. Good cocktails and wine. Salter caramel rolos at the end: lovely!

   great underrated pub in my opinion friendly staff and great location solid pub sunday lunch; better than most

   Soup over salty. Turned up to my table and they then rang me to say was I coming to eat? Staff good. But the manager should be fired for bad management.

   Really excellent and chilled out Valentines meal. The flat iron steak with cafe de Paris butter was fire!

   Sunday lunch, late pm. Food tables quiet. Veg undercooked and tepid. Two insignificant sluces of Beef - v disappointing . Cauliflower cheese side order was good and yorkshire pudding homemade. Service team were pleasant. Won't return for food, but would go for a pint - very disappointing.

   Excellent roast beef. My son loved his burger. We arrived early so didn't know if busy.
