Excellent variety of food.....esp seafood and desserts!! Our server, Jun was very attentive, polite and accommodating. Jun, thank you for my daughter's birthday surprise!! That was very thoughtful of you. The other staff members were also very welcoming and efficient, making sure that the food lines were clean and filled at all times. My daughters enjoyed the soft serve ice cream, chocolate fountain and endless offerings of bit size cakes. My husband enjoyed the fresh sashimi, snow crab legs and oysters. Note: Hyatt now offers kamaainas a 20% discount on Mon-Thurs IMO, Hyatt is the best buffet in HNL!!

We enjoyed The Buffet at Hyatt so much that we decided to go back again! We sure had our fill of crab legs, sashimi, poke and more! Again, the best deal in Waikiki, especially if you’re a Kama’aina!

This was my second time here. For the most part the food quality was about the same as my previous visit. Always loved the kalbi. However they did change the seafood section where before you could help yourself to as much crab legs, oysters, ahi poke and sashimi that you wanted. But now you are served those items on a plate and if you want more you'll need to go back and ask for another serving. It's really not that inconvenient but when you're deep into your crab shell cracking and eating you just want to sit and keep cracking. Not have to clean up to go and get more. But I can understand that maybe people were taking more than they could eat and it gets wasted. The soft serve ice cream still needs to be more "wow" but did hit the spot after eating all that seafood. Our server named Pam was fantastic! She was very attentive and always made sure we had what we needed. Overall the food was good and the atmosphere cozy. Cost $89/per person and automatic 19% gratuity for parties of 6 or more. Reservations highly recommended through the Open Table app.

I heard great things about The Buffett! I went upt to 8 rounds of food, mainly the seafood was my center of attention. The snow crab legs were amazing even with no sauce! I could not breathe after my 8 rounds of food!

Food was a letdown. Needs more variety. Seafood was snowcrab, shrimp, sashimi of tuna only, oyster shooters, and sushi was just futomaki and hand rolls. Hot food section was insufficient. Korean hot food section with cold food. Drinks like soda / tea not included for the price. Furniture run down. Go to other hotel buffets…

The food was great, as was the service. Our server, Jun, was attentive and helpful ... and he answered questions for us about the buffet and hotel. The chefs at both the meat station and sushi station were friendly and helpful. We were disappointed to not be seated further from the amplified live singer (who, BTW, needs some energy/quickness in a few of his songs :) ...and we asked. Customers with hearing aids often suffer with loud noises, like amplified singing.

The buffet isn’t worth it. The seafood crab legs were ice cold, the garlic shrimp were old and waaaaayyy too salty. The Korean bbq was also waaay too salty. There were flies on all the desserts and fruits. The only good thing was the lechon. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

Quick seating, great service, amazing food! Ice cream machine was fancy and the deserts were exotic. They sang Happy Birthday to our daughter in request of the musician. The ocean view topped everything off!

2 stars for decent service, crab legs and oyster shooters. Otherwise I was quite disappointed with the entire experience from the parking, to locating the restaurant, to food quality and selection. This is advertised as a Korean seafood buffet and the Korean food was not great. Drinks are not included. Valet is likely the best option because self parking is limited (fyi: structure is very narrow), $15 valet for 2 hours with validation. There’s a kamaaina discount of 15% but with our party of 6 there was an automatic 19% gratuity added. We were seated in booth area and the seats were so sunken in we had to ask for seat cushions, the server was nice to find us pillows which helped a lot. Buckets on the table for shells and waste which was convenient. But overall food quality and selection below average. “Interactive dessert” was a yogurt machine with 8 flavors, but was watery and didn’t have good taste. I hate to write a poor review but it’s my honest experience and I suggest to save your money

Great food with a beautiful view! The server was friendly and attentive. The only downfall is they only have chilled crab legs. I would have preferred steamed but overall still a great selection of food choices.

Decided on trying it out after seeing a review of it on a recent vlog. looks like a few things changed. Oysters no longer on the half shell, NY steak replaced Ribeye. Food was pretty good overall. Live music was great. Outside seating with view of ocean and partial sunset Kamaaina Discount!

The snow crab is NOT good. And they asked for a 17-20% tip on the receipt even though it was a buffet. I paid a $30 tip, but I don't think it's good to ask for it. And it's too hot here.

First time trying out this buffet. My favorite was the spicy tuna and the salmon skins sushi rolls. The salmon was soooo crunchy and good. The short ribs were soft and tender and loved the desserts especially the tiramisu and ube mini cheesecakes. The view of Waikiki was spectacular. They also have live music which is a bonus. I would definitely go there again.

Pro: 99% of the things I ate had good flavor and of high quality. Items were quickly replenished. Love the kamaaina discount. Con: Steaks were overcooked, kalbi could use some meat tenderizer, miso soup was bland, dining area was hot due to Sun, our round table was too small for four people.

Definitely not worth the money. Crab legs were watery. Sides tasted like they were pre frozen and the desserts were terrible. The view was great and service as well. Do not recommend and would not eat there again.

The spread was poor for an $80 per person buffet. Vega charges less for a lot more options. The only worthwhile part was the snow crab. They also put on the receipt “gratuity not included, it’s customary to pay 17%~20% for tips.” That’s absurd for a buffet. Technically you don’t need to tip for buffets since the server is not taking the orders or bringing you food. But etiquette-wise from gurus is that it’s probably good to tip 10% since they are still clearing your plates. For them to put that comment on the bill means that they are either taking advantage of their servers and underpaying their servers or they are taking advantage of guests or tourists who don’t know better.

was worth it. my only concern was during checkout - the manager had to call me after I left and said my card didn't clear, but in reality, my card was cleared (but they charged my card twice ..... which caused an issue with my funds availability in my bank account.

Jimmy our waiter was very helpful and kind He was there anytime we needed anything and it was my daughters birthday so her mom is very needy hahaha The crab legs and sashimi was delicious The only thing I think could have been better was if they had prime rib or at Putin eye steak cause it was New York steak for the meats and $70 a head But the manager I forgot his name a big guy with a great positive attitude was very helpful and easy to talk with is staff there was excellent they get 10 out of 5 in my book hahahaha Definitely will go back again
