We sat in the middle of the pub but the door opening and closing all the time made it so cold. The pub needs a curtain or something around the door to prevent the cold air coming in. Service was mediocre. The food was good but cold. We had to badger waiters to take our order and weren’t looked after we’ll. quite disappointing all round really.

We were a little disappointed that the menu on Saturday night was very limited and not the same as the website. Having said that the chicken burger was very good.

A very enjoyable New Year's Day lunch. High quality meat, great flavours and a good range on the menu. The only criticisms we could make were that we were waiting too long after being sat down to be offered a drink and the menus, and the chips could have done with longer in the pan. Otherwise very good and would go again, for sure.

Had lunch at The Brown Cow on Wednesday with some friends before we all went our own separate ways for Christmas. Canbrecommend the steak sandwich and the Christmas pudding. Great bloody Mary’s as well.
