Grilled octopus & smoked Wahoo fish served over a beautiful blend of cannellini beans and fresh avocado halves on a bed of fresh mixed greens with a smoked paprika aioli drizzle
Broiled Seafood Platter
Delectable choice of lobster tail or snow crab served with succulent shrimp, clam, mussels, scallops, filet of fish and tangy lemon butter sauce
Tender shrimp, lump crab meat and fresh sea scallops, gently sautéed in our signature white wine and butter sauce
This is a great place to eat. My wife and I really enjoyed our meal. The waitress was great. She did a fantastic job. Overall, when we’re back in Naples, we’re coming back here again.
Great food-great service and peaceful setting to enjoy dinner on water.
We actually ate there on 6/17 and 6/21. The meal on 6/17 was very poor. My kids ordered a half pound of king crab legs and they each received a half of a TOTAL crab leg. I ordered the tuna ceviche and the tuna was the toughest cut of the tuna.
On 6/20, I ordered the gumbo and seasame seared AHI tune. Tuna was good but over cooked slightly. The gumbo had very little resemblance to a "gumbo" and was more of a seafood soup with rice. The roux was flat and in no way tasted like a gumbo roux
Can't beat happy hour drinks and food is excellent with good portions
Espectacular, great views..
Tim was an excellent server. Food was great. Overall would def go back.
Great dinner on the waterfront. Huge portions and great service
I ordered the Broiled Fisherman's Platter. Shell fish, and fish filet were good. The lobster tail and the shrimp were shriveled up and dry!
The service was wonderful.
Our waiter by the name of Holden was not pleasant at all. We ask questions about the menu and he was not helpful and was always in a hurry. We were there at 5:30pm , the Restaurant was empty at that time and He was trying to rush us out of there.
He told us that He was the son of the owner. What a shame, He needs lots of training!!!
On the other hand the waitress working with him serving other tables was very nice and pleasant with everyone there.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. The calamari was so chewy, it was by far the worst calamari I’ve ever had. We ordered the filet and wanted our steaks medium. They came back in under 10 minutes of ordering and the steaks looked like flank steak, not filet. The steak was so rare it might had well of still been alive. The steak had absolutely no flavor, I had to try to eat it with mashed potatoes to even swallow it. The website looked fancy and reasonably pricey, so I had high hopes and was deeply disappointed.
We always choose the Boathouse for nice dinners out. The water view, friendly staff and food always makes a great night out. Friendly bartenders when sitting at the bar before dinner
Just an overall non pretentious place to dine!
There was a guest with a dog barking loudly most of the early part of our meal. It is not clear why a disruptive dog is accommodated at a nice restaurant. Nice fresh bread. Service speed was reasonable (so better than some other reviewers experienced). Nice to sit outdoors by the water and boats.
Overpriced. Sandwich without side. Fish without anything to go with it at high prices. They’ve changed menu and not for better
Service was just okay. It did start raining while seated outside so I’m sure it was hectic moving people indoors but given the area and the climate it should be part of the norm. Kids meals side items were forgotten until we asked. Food was okay but probably wouldn’t make a special trip.
Just terribly understaffed.
Service, view, and dinner was excellent!! First time dining at The Boathouse and will definitely return.
We had a good brunch but felt sorry for our waiter who was doubling as the bar tender. He did a good job but though no fault of his, the service was not up to par.
I love the food, I really enjoy the paella
Piped in music is VERY loud; we were seated next to a table of 6 which were extremely loud and noisy. I won't go there again for a quiet peaceful dinner.
Appetizer of calamari not good. Grouper entree was delicious. On the water. Sat outside. Perfect location and ambiance. Bri our server was the best!! Great service. Took our picture. I mentioned it was my birthday and she brought a free piece of cake with a candle. A great evening despite the bad calamari. Grouper was catch of day fresh and sautéed in lemon butter. Delicious!!
Food was amazing ! A little expensive but good quality
Family dinner - we been to the Boathouse twice before and had a great meal. This visit wasn’t the best.
My teenage grandson did not like the Chicken Francais. My teenage granddaughter and son-in-law had the Asian stirred and they didn’t think it was the best. Surprised that the app - bacon wrapped scallop was $14 and you only got 3 scallops.
Very nice setting on the water great menu nice value and a nice water.
As the room filled up with diners it got noisy.
Also, we must mention that upon arrival ( 25% full) there is a foul Oder. Almost too heavy and made one think twice about the cleanliness of the establishment.
Hopefully management will address this during summer low season.
Great ambiance and wonderful food, service can be improved more for faster service.
Our waitress was very nice and dog friendly.
Best lobster we ever had! Crab legs were not great. Ceviche was awesome! Asian pork legs appetizer was amazing!
Awesome food and great service. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.
We love coming when we are in town. Great view and good food.
Best crab I’ve ever eaten!!!
Server would disappear and had to ask others to help
Had a great view of the water. Service was great from the valet to our server. First time there. Will definitely go back.
We heard many people rave about the boathouse. In our opinion there are plenty of other places to go that have great views and much better food. If your visiting the area then you would love the Boathouse if your a resident there are better choices. The service was exceptional. From the bartenders to the servers.
Beautiful water views and delicious seafood. We went back for a second time!
Throughly enjoyed ourselves. Great food. Happy Hour fabulous. Highly recommend!
A beautiful evening sitting outdoors on Naples Bay. We started with the crab encrusted artichoke. The stuffing was delicious however the artichokes needed to be cooked more. Hardly able to get any "meat" off the leaves. Salads were of ample size and dressing was served on the side which was appreciated by all. The prime rib and garlic shrimp were both cooked to perfection. The shrimp were large and swimming in a delectable garlic sauce. The vegetable kabob was not worth the high asking price. It appeared that the chef just scrapped the bottom of the refrigerator to dig out a very few small pieces of vegetable and it was cold when it arrived to the table. Probably don't serve this often but again for the price this should have been more substantial, especially since no meat was involved. Would definitely go back but maybe leave the vegetarian at home. Also must note that the industrial fans were way too windy and loud for this setting. Had to move our bread basket so it wouldn't fly away!
Our waiter was as good as he could be without any help! This USED to be my favorite restaurant when I came to Naples. Unfortunately they are understaffed and possibly new management or something
Food was decent. Service was horrible! Overcrowded patio!
My wife had the lobster roll and it was very good stuffed with lobster. I had the Paella, it was very good the rice was not dry and it had a large amount of mussels, lobster tail, claims, grilled octopus. I could not finish it all, I'm looking forward to going back again. The service was great.
Great place for dinner with a great view of Naples Bay.
We will be back, everything was delicious.
